I'm back and this month I once again have 2 maps, 1 new and 1 old, redone with different coloring and lighting! If you're new to my Patreon (hi!), every month I go back and change a map or 2 so as to give them different flavors or settings. Like the polls, I like to hear from what you want for these posts, so let me know your thoughts when you're done downloading!

The first revisited map is Desert Tomb, which I've gone back to given the often-suggestion winterizing. This should line up well with the Frozen Fountain map from a while back and also scratch that itch for snowy maps. I plan on continuing to make winter versions of old maps too, so you can look forward to forest maps getting this treatment in the coming months!

The second map I revisited this month was Ancient Ruins, which I've changed to be more in the style that I had originally envisioned for it. The new coloring and lighting was made to be reminiscent of the original Jungle Ruins map (which you can find under the Free maps tab). I found the lighting to be surprisingly difficult to imitate, but I do think I'm happy with the new Ancient Jungle Ruins- perhaps this version would fit a little better in a Tomb of Annihilation campaign. Let me know if this type of alternate style is something you're interested in, if there's a need for maps with a more jungle-y palette then I'll make an effort to make more like it in the future.

I just used the Desert Tomb in a campaign and the players loved it. I like that you managed to make the tomb look so chilly even though it's all interior, well done! The dark, almost stormy look for Ancient Ruins is great too, either to swap to when some sort of effect occurs on the map or simply as a stormy default. Thanks!
