Desert Tomb (Patreon)

Hello folks! This week's map is the Desert Tomb (28x33), perhaps the first map I've made that mixes both outside and inside environments and lighting. Otherwise, it's a pretty straightforward one with a simple symmetrical layout, every inch of which is begging to be filled with dart traps, swinging blades, and cracks through which scorpions can suddenly emerge and jump onto your cleric's face. As the prop/no prop debate continues, I went with a slightly prop-light dungeon, where every room has something going on but not necessarily enough that limits what it can be used for.

The adept version of this one is with the props removed, specifically the items which give it a 'tomb-y' feel such as the sarcophagi and all the little jars scattered about. I considered going further and removing the rubble and sand piles, but I felt they added enough to the map that I wouldn't be happy to see them go. However, if a couple of you are interested I can always jump back in and cut everything but the walls and floor, so let me know!
