Hey there everyone your map of the week is the Big Island Shrine (40x40), likely the final map I'll be making from the last poll. No longer will I be chained by the bonds of polls and I'll be able to draw whichever map I want, whenever I want! I think I'll shake things up next week, so be sure to stop by ;)

I was pretty excited to be drawing an island again this week, it's definitely my favorite recurring setting to draw. There's something fun about a map you can approach at any angle, it creates options that aren't usually available (and who doesn't love the Windwaker vibes?). It's a little more of a level designing challenge than normal, so it's good for making me think about each decision. Anyway I'll pack away my floral shirts, palm tree shaped sunglasses, and Margaritaville-branded Wacom tablet for another 3 months and get back to mountains, forests, or cities.

Also Adepts and Experts got a stormy version of this map this time, but everyone's getting this map with and without all the manmade props (dock, shrine, & lanterns) at both night and day. It's amazing what's possible when I put together my Photoshop layers right, huh? I should do that more often.

One other thing, this map is rather large so I had to sacrifice some image quality to get it under the 5mb mark (which is the maximum size that Roll20 allows).  If you would like the map in higher quality and don't have size restrictions then, use the PDF.

Adepts can find their post here!

I love your islands. Feel free to make as many as you want. Cheers on another great map for us to use.

Roll20, paid admittedly, does allow up to 10, just incase that isnt how you play and you didnt kno. I really love the windwaker vibe. One day i may just run a mini game where the map is, as a base, all your islands just chained together windwaker map style. I think that could be fun
