Hey everyone, here's your map for this week: the Crumbling Fort (36x36)! It's pretty dang crumbly as it turns out, crumblier than I might have originally intended, but I think it will make for interesting combat. As you might guess, I based this one off of Skyrim's many forts, which I like because of how simple their layout tends to be.

I imagine someone shifty is using the old fort as a hideout, so maybe they've pitched camp in the small courtyard? Perhaps there's a hatch somewhere beneath the collapsed tower with much more hidden underneath? I try to make my maps very open-ended, so fingers crossed this will be versatile enough for you folks.

The Adept version this week is fortless, just a nice grassy peninsula. I like making alternate versions of maps like this because it feels like a completely different map when the set-pieces are gone. Better yet it's a nice template for dropping your own props and tokens in! Neat.

Next week I'll be continuing down the poll, and it's looking like the Cozy Inn will be the winner unless people really push for the Swamp! The turnout for the poll continues to be less than half of all you guys, so make sure you got your vote in!

Adepts can find their post here!

That’s awesome, and not to mention perfect for Tomb of Annihilation battle I need to run next week! (The party hasn’t entered the jungle yet and is instead traveling the coast.)

O man I just started Tomb, traveling the coast is starting to sound very tempting :I

Crumbly and oceanside... Perfect for my party's warlock's sidequests. (patron is a knowledge obsessed ocean deity). A thousand thanks. Looking forward to that cozy inn. I can never have enough inns.

This was the perfect map I needed for an island battle against some will-o-the-wisps. My players couldn't stop fawning over how great it looked compared to our stock VTT battlemaps. Looking forward to more excellence!
