OK, as mentioned in this week's Direct, I'd like to kick off with a special message for DF Supporter A1an. You were right about Robocop: Rogue City. It's looking great! It's one of a few games previewed in this week's Direct, including Super Mario Bros Wonder - and yes, we share all of our thoughts on the PS5 Not Slim's official reveal. The machine doesn't look particularly compelling, but Sony does seem to have retained a solid physical media version - to the point where the digital edition actually looks somewhat overpriced. Meanwhile, could Sony instigate their own FPS Boost program if modders are able to achieve the same job on exploited PlayStation 5s? And is Redfall's 60fps patch too late to make a difference?

A quick note about early access. Monday is usually when we put the Direct live, but this week, there's a stronger likelihood we'll put it up tomorrow as the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 embargo is on Monday and it would not make sense to publish it within close proximity to that. This rarely happens and we tend to opt for Tuesday Direct publishing instead when there's a content pile-up like this, but the eagerly anticipated Switch 2 specs video I've been working on (and scheduled for Sunday) isn't quite ready to go. It'll be worth the wait though, don't worry...

The original Star Wars arcade with wireframe vector graphics and the full sit-in cabinet is my favorite film to game adaptation. The game graphics and music were amazing for the time and still great today!🤩

Jon, you never need to apologize for talking about what you love. Your reviews and analysis of crazy 90’s Japanese games are a large part of why I subscribe to DF Retro. ❤ Man, I really miss those innovative Square days with games like Vagrant Story and Einhänder
