Massive crowds in videogames used to be a big focus on prior generation consoles, culminating in - and ending with - Assassin's Creed Unity. However, back in the PS2 era, developers really went for it and with Ikusagami, also known as Demon Chaos in the UK, we saw an engine that could deliver up to 65,000 enemies on-screen at 60fps. So what does that look like? John has the story.

This video was fantastic! I wish this game came to the US. It stinks; I would want to play this game translated to English, but the Pal verison is likely running at 50fps. It would be great to see DF Retro videos for specific consoles that discuss fantastic games that were only released in Japan. I would love to search for games when I travel to Japan.
