Hello there, it's Thursday, which is the traditional time for us to post our Call for Questions - and so it is once again. We will be filming on Friday morning first thing, so please submit your questions for inclusion by 8AM GMT, 9AM CET, 3AM PST.

It'll be Rich (ie me), John and Oliver at the mics this week, talking about Phil Spencer's comments on opening up Xbox to support PC stores, Phil Spencer (again) essentially laying out what he wants from an Xbox handheld - and we'll be responding to the reports of an all-white Xbox Series X. Without a disc drive.

Beyond that, we'll be commenting on the Dragon's Dogma 2 launch and Capcom's stated intentions for its upcoming patch, and we'll be discussing Outcast: A New Beginning's odd performance characteristics. We were looked to covering this on last week's Direct but amusingly, the PS5 version sent our tools haywire, requiring me to do a bit more of a diagnosis on what's going on there!

Of course, we're always keen on any input you have. Not just questions about the above, but questions on anything else on your mind, along with topic suggestions. And do bear in mind Digital Foundry InDirect! We recognise we get a bunch of great questions and we can't cover them all in the show, but we will be revisiting them for the next episode of our Supporter-only show.

For now though, the pleasingly inviting box is below, awaiting your keystrokes! Have a great day and a relaxing long weekend (assuming you have one!).

Question for Alex: Have you seen this comparison video between PS5 and PC versions of Horizon: Forbidden West where it points out the PC version's lower quality Aloy model compared to the PS5 version? Were you aware of this, and do you know if Nixxes is? Or was this video just wrong? https://youtu.be/G78A4E_kSbA

Is it possible that the incremental CPU increase on the PlayStation 5 pro is because the PlayStation 5 wasn't meant to be clocked so high?

Also, thank you for stating when you'll actually look at these comments. It works much better with my schedule than trying to get my questions within 6 hours of the call to questions going up.

Hello good Sers. I've recently been enjoying Dragons Dogma 2 on the Series X, despite the inconsistent unlocked frame rate issues that have ARISEN. I was wondering to what extent my enjoyment was down to VRR and 120hz output on Series X widening the VRR window. Experiences will vary depending on the display capabilities, as well as whether consoles/PCs can make the most of that display's features. Have we got to a point where reviewers should be stating the type display that they test on? (Note: 20fps and NPC pop in within cities is NOT saved by VRR!). Thanks for all your good work!

Do you see minimum res improving in the next years compared to 2023 lows as games move out of the period of being developed during the Covid struggle. Or do the hideously low resolution metrics (in 30 and 60fps modes) just the beginning and we’re going to see them stay, with emphasis being put in improving the upscaler itself like FSR or tsr

Hello DF team! It seems that much like PS4 Pro, developers have to update their games to run in the new hardware (PS5 Pro), could Sony have made this easier from the beginning? They had to know that a Pro was coming, and PS6 in the future (bc in PS5 was good, but could've been better), with every game launching with different graphics presets, experience from last gen and hardware so similar surely a way to make it """developer agnostic""" should be possible. I know that changing hardware could lead to instability, but still. Love to know your thoughts, and congratulations on all the good work!

Hi DF, Recently i wrote to you about getting 40fps cap stuttering in some games (Not ALL) on VRR display C9 Oled when fps is capped with either Riva Turner, Game itself or through Nvidia CP. Rock steady 40FPS with some kind of stuttering / uneven frames. I've tested a bit more and came to conclusion that stuttering is only happening when i cap fps. No matter if i cap on 40, 50 or 60 stutter is there. However VRR is working like a charm when uncapped. Some Games that i get stuttering with : AC Mirage, Horizon Forbidden West, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Starfield, Alan Wake 2 and some more. Some of Games that are running very smooth with fps cap: The Last of us Part 1, Lies of P, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, Dishonored 2, Dying Light 2 and some more. My Specs are: RTX 3080 TI i9-9900K 32 GB of Ram NVME SSD Drive Gsync Compatible is properly set in control panel for Fullscreen and borderless. Do you have any clue / solution for my problem? Thanks and keep a good work!
