Going live later - but all supporters can watch now.

The Digital Foundry tech review for Dragon's Dogma 2 is here, covering off everything you need to know in terms of image quality, performance, platform comparisons for the consoles along with a closer look at the PC version and just what the issues are that users are highlighting. This is an absolutely phenomenal game - but one that requires some CPU-level optimisations along with an optional 30 frames per second cap on the console builds, and checkerboard bug-fixing on Xbox machines.

Second biggest disgrace in all this is how few reviews gave any discussion to these obvious performance flaws. Scores are one thing, but at least TALK ABOUT IT. Divide b/w PC scores and Steam reviews is telling.

I'd be interested to know if the Series X's system wide 120hz VRR implementation is helping me have a good time. Excluding the drops in the city (and the weird drop to draw distance!) gameplay is great and I love the GI. I imagine not having the expanded VRR window to be yucky. Maybe reviewers need to be clear as to not just the hardware they're playing on, but the screen they are using!
