Hi everyone, a somewhat muted week for news, but nonetheless, there's still a lot to discuss in DF Direct Weekly #154. We'll be sharing our first impressions on Rise of the Ronin on PlayStation 5, ahead of the full video due nearer release next week. We'll also be discussing the curious case of the Stellar Blade demo that went live for a very short while then mysteriously vanished.

On the PC side, we'll be getting Rich and Alex's reactions to the new PresentMon 2.0 that aims to put some kind of metric to stutter amongst other enhancements. We may also be reacting to IGN's recent interview with Peter Moore and his proclamations on the end of consoles as we know them.

But is there any other topic you feel we should be talking about? Alternatively, do you have any questions you'd like to ask us in the usual Supporter Q+A slot? The invitingly empty comments box is - as always - below and awaits your input! Thanks!

Hey DF BoYz With the rumored release of the PS5 Pro, I believe power alone will not set it apart from the base PS5. Sorry but more cores and upsampling technology. while cool. isn't sexy enough to your average consumer. Do you guys share my opinion that a good short term marketing strategy would be that "it's the best way to play GTA VI". If i were Sony, I would be calling Rockstar every hour begging for a collaboration and to bundle GTA VI with the PS5 Pro. I own a high end gaming PC and that marketing strategy alone would convince me to buy it.

Long time listener, first time caller. I have been pondering about the Steamdecks chosen resolution and its possible long term impact on Screen aspect ratio's. As an ancient PC user that hearkens back to the days of the 486, I have always felt that 16:9 is lacking in screen real estate in comparison to 16:10. I wonder if sneaky Gabe is secretly planning an aspect ratio Coup upon the PC and gaming industry?
