Field Report 2023/10 (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

Time for the first monthly Field Report post.

First of all, I have to say that my month so far has been a bit chaotic as my daughter got hospitalized at the beginning of the month, and I've been able to work only part-time. And my mind has been a bit unfocused. Fortunately, things are under control, but I cannot say when they return to normal.

Here at Miska's Maps office, we've been working on new maps, but because of the above reason, my part in Foundry updates has suffered. I'm going to keep on working on those as time allows.

But let's get to this month's announcements.

September's Releases

In September, we released one map.

Planned Releases for October

For this month we have finished one new map and we are planning to make at least one more map in addition to that. We have some ideas, and you can vote for your favorite at the end of this post. 

In general, we aim to release 2-3 new maps per monh for now.

Foundry VTT Support Status

At the moment Foundry Support is put on hold. It is in plans to bring the Foundry VTT support back as soon as possible once we have all other updates done. More news about this later.

D100 Compartible Content?

This is something I'm considering, but nothing is for certain yet.

Would you be interested in D100 compatible content that could be useful with Delta Green and Modern Call of Cthulhu for example? I added an option for this in the poll. Click that if you would be interested in short scenarios or creature/NPC stats. 

Patreon Updates Coming Soon

I plan to redesign the look of this Patreon and change some tier names to suit he new modern-day cosmic horror and urban fantasy focus. These updates will be more cosmetic in nature, but it's better you are informed about these upcoming changes :) 

On the other hand there will be some changes to the tiers and their rewards. The details are not final yet, but my intention is to update the tiers to match other Miska's Maps projects - Cyberpunk Maps and Sci-Fi Maps. 

These changes will be rolled out gradually over October and November. More details will follow soon.

Coming Soon: Collections

Patreon has a new feature called Collections. We will be creating new collections and including our maps in them as part of the big overhaul. New maps will be included in Collections.

Map Suggestions & Ideas

I thought this would be a good place to ask for map ideas for upcoming polls. New ideas are always welcome, and recurring requests are something we know to speed up in our plans.

Please feel free to comment on this post with your map suggestions and ideas, and we will add new ideas to our backlog. Frequent and the most interesting suggestions will be included in the upcoming map polls.
