Vacation Report - May 30, 2022 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

I probably should have made this post yesterday, but it totally slipped my mind. I am making this post public, since there is nothing lascivious in it - not even a saucy picture. So it should be perfectly safe to share.

I am officially back in Washington state, and have access to my PC once more. We're not quite back to full functionality, though - I'm spending another week or two with my folks, before returning to my apartment.

During the week I was out, a handful of different on-stream video projects were discussed. I've got the gears turning on a multitude of projects. Vault Liz, Borderlands hijinks, Normandy orgies... Even a meme shitpost made its way in there.

And that's to say nothing of the gears I put into motion before heading out. Overbreed Episode 0's audio is in the process of being recorded, the Frozen on-stream project has its voiced storyboard rendering out as I type this, my sound designer tossed the first pass of the June Minivid's audio to me while I was writing out this paragraph.

All things considered, quite a bit of work is getting done for my being on vacation. The only thing that hasn't really progressed is the Claire/Jill on-stream video. DrJavi, the guest director of the project, has been getting swamped by his new work schedule and hasn't had any time to review the 22-minute video as we have it.

I am beginning to fear we may have to move on without him. I'd hate to put the project on hiatus, when there's not really anything technical holding it back. I'll try to talk to him later this week, see if we can't figure out a time, or worse comes to worst, figure out a contingency in his continued absence.

I am hoping to be returning to my apartment on June 8th. That isn't a guarantee, though.

Things only get more complicated by the fact that, after getting spontaneously sick the day after we returned from Florida, my dad got pretty sick - and tested hard positive for covid. He's doing better now, just had one day of really nasty flu symptoms - but he's very likely still contagious, and goodness knows wherever he picked it up from, we were all likely exposed.

My mum's now feeling ill, which puts my head on the chopping block. Not excited about that, but I'm not going to count that chicken till it's hatched. Who knows, I might end up getting such a mild case that I don't even notice it.
