Hey everyone!

So this week's progress report is a bit less focused than usual, if you can't tell from the schizophrenic image. It's been that kind of week. Let's go over everything.\

Marie/Helena

So first up, with the completion of the Marie/Helena video just around the corner (this upcoming Saturday should see us finalize it!!), I've been chipping away at some of the production needed to finish it off.

The Marie/Helena video is the first in a large anthology called the DOAFACU - the Dead Or Alive Fantasy Aardvarkian Cinematic Universe - which is exactly what it names suggests: a large, connected series of projects that all exist within a single concurrent universe. The ultimate goal is having all of the individual characters and their storylines converge in a singular massive Ocean's Eleven-inspired heist, full of sex and hijinks.

As not only an entry in the DOAFACU, but the first official entry in the DOAFACU (Miscellaneous Expenses and Alternative Advertising are being retroactively grandfathered in), it needs a quick, flashy introduction that clearly describes that it is indeed part of the DOAFACU, and the characters involved (since there are, at time of writing, 16 main characters total within the DOAFACU). These images of Marie and Helena respectively are for the second part of that introduction.

Vault Liz

I think a fan favorite of all of the incarnations of Elizabeth I've done, and certainly one of my favorites (I've a weakness for skintight suits, sue me), Vault Liz entered my thoughts again recently. I'm considering an interactive comic with her as a new on-stream project, where Saturday streams would alternate between working on comics and working on video projects like Marie/Helena.

These video projects are exciting to make, but there's no doubt about the fact that they take for-fucking-ever, and things can get a bit stale constantly working on the same thing for literal months. Especially when we get into the more mundane things like dialogue and narrative animation.

Comics, on the other hand, have a much quicker turnaround. The Jill/Rebecca comic that I launched my new galleries page with (still needs to be linked to the website proper, so it's link-only for now!), for example, took about 6 days to build from start to finish, and that was including spending a few days building the layout tool used to generate the pages. I think that it's not too unrealistic to image that a comic of about 50 panels (Jill/Rebecca was 52 panels) could go from inception to completion in 4 solid days of work.

And if each Saturday stream alternates between working on a comic and working on a video, that would fall squarely into having a 50-panel comic put out every 2 months. Which isn't a terrible turnover for something that isn't a regular production, hasn't been last touched in 3 years, and hasn't been a part of my regular schedule in almost 6.

Going back to Vault Liz here, the idea with this particular image was that the viewers choose which Elizabeth they want to follow: the shy but assertive bookworm Liz, who specializes in thinking her way out of sticky situations (and into "sticky" situations, if you follow my meaning); the calculating and ruthless temptress Liz, who weaponizes her body and bottomless depravity to further her self-centered agenda; or the cheerful and submissive breeder Liz, hailing from a vault where her task of regularly entertaining scores of men as they systemically sow her hyper-fertile womb was accepted with glee and wild abandon, leaving her singularly ready for the otherwise exhausting trials of the Great Wasteland.

I have played with the idea of having all three Elizabeths eventually be followed, but the idea right now is having a "gateway" comic that introduces all three of them, and then the first interactive session is viewers choose which Elizabeth to follow, and we go from there. The 2-week cycle of comic work on stream means that once an installment is finished, it gives viewers 2 weeks to decide on that episode's decision, and the next comic week we can launch straight into the next adventure.

I don't know for certain if we're going to pursue this - I intend to discuss the idea with the stream this upcoming Saturday, and possibly even kickstart it if there is sufficient interest. We might pursue something else, and we may not do comics at all. I really don't know, but it's an idea I have been entertaining, and has taken up a fair bit of time this week!

DVa and Sombra

Another comic I've been pursuing this week (I'm really excited about making comics again, if you can't tell), this one is a precursor to another on-stream project I've been considering over the past few months. This project would be a video detailing a gaming-tournament-turned-orgy feature everyone's favorite e-athlete Mary Sue, and the comic would be explaining how the video's events came to pass. Basically, the video would be the action, and the comic would be the story.

However, earlier today I decided to shelve this particular comic. I have released the writing and posing done for it so far as a Misc Bin reward - feel free to check it out here, as well as read the details of the project and why I am shelving it for now.

It's far from a loss, though - I needed to build Sombra for my next major video anyways, which is Episode 1 of Overbreed; and the hoodie outfit for DVa is one I actually had already built months ago for Rabbit.Hole Episode 4, before I shuffled my schedule around and decided to push Overbreed in RHE4's place this year.

So it's all either work I needed to do anyways, or work I had already done. Plus, Sombra has become the practical test for the major DazV5 model framework update I have in the shop. More details on that will be in a public blog post in the coming weeks.

I plan to release both Sombra and the "Incognito" DVa outfit within the next week or two. Both need a bit of work, which an observant individual can spot when looking through the Misc Bin dump. Notably some clipping on Sombra's neck, and the hoodie itself is rigged pretty badly. And Sombra has some technical work behind-the-scenes I need to take care of, too.

Rachaos

Finally, the main-course meal. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten much work on it done this week. What I did manage to get done, though, is the foundation for probably the most complex of the sex animations in the entire video - the cock workship, which bounces between three different animations fluidly, both between each other and between worshipping and talking. It's a complex motion, and takes up a good chunk of the foreplay, so it definitely needed to get done.

You can check out at the animation here. [UPD Jan 29 2021: Replaced the url because apparently redgifs deleted the previous one for some reason] Note that it's all very rough and blocked out. The stroking animation in particular is actually entirely independent of the main animation, which is why it just stops after a bit, while the rest of the animations and their transitions play out. In practice, I need to time everything out and figure out exactly how long each loop plays, as well as figure out when she pulls away to talk. That's why it is so disjointed right now - I need to take the time to properly assess the runtimes for this animation.

Like I said, it's complex.

That's it for this week!

Hopefully next week will be more focused on Rachaos. Though I will be putting together another comic in my spare hours, so expect to see something about that next week - and another Misc Bin dump of the current state of it!

Until then, take care everyone!
