Phazon Addendum B - Progress Report #3 (Patreon)

Hey all.

Progress is moving slowly. I wish I had more to share, but honestly things haven't been going well production-wise. Samus continues to be a redheaded stepchild, giving me grief every step of the way.

This casual outfit is the most recent example. It has zero bodygroups and zero bodymorph support. On average, an outfit of this fidelity built to this degree would take me maybe 6 hours - the streams are evidence enough of that.

This particular outfit took me three days to build. And I had to start over fitting entire sections of it a total of three times.

I'm not sure why, I'm not sure how, but the universe is conspiring to make this project be as difficult for me as it can be. Hilarious, since I intentionally wrote it to be infinitely simpler and easier to put together than Rabbit.Hole Episode 3 - which went off with virtually zero hitches. I've had more go wrong in one week of working on PAB than I had go wrong in the entire production cycle of RHE3.

We're now 3 weeks into production, and I don't have a single narrative shot built yet. Don't even have the scenebuilds made. And I've burned literal weeks just working on Samus' model and accessories now.

And the worst part is, I'm still not done. I still need to make the male uniforms, and I still need to make the Zero Suit variants for the sex scenes. I'm going to hold off on the Zero Suit until all of the narrative stuff is blocked together, but the male uniforms are still required before I can progress forward on the animation front.

I'm not putting my foot down and saying this is concretely, but don't be surprised if, in a few weeks, I officially push the release of PAB back a month.

Wish I had better news, but this is the state of things. I'll keep on trucking, but don't expect things to ever get back on the rails. We're less chugging along at this point, and more hopping on one foot carrying a head-high pile of shoeboxes, constantly picking up the boxes we drop with each hop.
