Rabbit.Hole Episode 3 - Progress Report #6 (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

A rare day indeed, I am actually posting the Thursday update on Thursday! At least my time - it's 11:38PM as of writing this sentence!

As per the schedule I laid out over the last two posts, my goal was to be finishing up the lip-sync by the time I was writing this post. Well, in a bizarre twist of fate, I am actually completely finished with the lip-sync!

Yes, that's right. ALL of the non-sex lip-sync has been done, ALL of the sex-scene dialogue has been lip-synced, and ALL of the sex sounds have been lip-synced as well! The lip-sync is 100% finished!

This post's video is a snippet of the lip-sync, from the facesitting section. Again, it has sound, so you'll want to turn it on. It also intentionally has background music playing, to muddy the audio and make it hard for unscrupulous people to rip the audio off this preview and try to use it. You'd be surprised just how desperate some people can be, so better safe than sorry.

All that remains now is polishing! 90% of that is narrative & detail animation, though a bit of it is also polishing the scenebuild in places. You may notice there's a little bit at the very end of this video where the void is visible - I need to fix that before the final render!

With any luck, I will be ready to start churning out the 2160p renders by this time next week. I need to talk to my sound designer and see if he thinks the audio will be ready by then. Because, if so, then we'll actually be all packed up and ready to go! Might as well release early, if possible.

But to be perfectly clear, the official release date is still April 30 2020 for the 1080p early access, and May 5 for the 2160p Patron-exclusive and 720p public release. If it is released early, then the Patron releases will be escalated: 1080p on the day of, and 2160p 5 days after as before. However, the public release is fixed to the official release date of May 5. So in such a case, consider it a bonus perk: your patience with my slower schedule in exchange for a longer exclusivity period over the public release.

With any luck though, next week's Progress Report will have a 2160p render of a particular sequence. Probably will be something near the beginning of the video, since even if I somehow finish all of the detail animating and polish by next week, there's no way I'd be done churning out the 2160p's for anything near the end of the video.
