Progress Report - April 6, 2018 ; First Week of Radio Silence (Patreon)

This post should have been made yesterday, but I stayed up last night working on my animation exporter pretty much till I passed out. You can read more about that, and why I am working on it, over on Tumblr. 

Even with the image horrifically pixelated to avoid the Gods That Be (you can read more about that in the channel discussion on Discord), an astute observer who read the screenplay for Radio Silence might be thinking "Wait, I don't remember anything about that second tentacle position being included!"

And they would be right.

I came across a problem that was both technical and aesthetic with the original design. The first pose is fully animated (minus the holding tentacles, but that's a detail I can resolve later), and it is a body-racking action. Jill's head is moving around so much that a Fun-Friend(TM) playing with her mouth isn't feasible. Even if I got it to work on a technical level, aesthetically, it'd be moving back and forth so much that wouldn't be able to see what it's doing, and it'd basically look like a giant feeding tube, rather than a naughty friend fucking her face.

So after some thinking (and a whole lot of spiraling depression), I decided to revise the screenplay a bit. Shortly after the double penetration, the screenplay deviates with a new cutaway to Chris, before returning to the new position, where Jill is getting stuffed by six Fun-Friends(TM) simultaneously.

I originally planned for the climax to go with her pussy and butt getting filled with Happy Cream(TM) first, and then finally her mouth before she demands more. But, while updating SilkyMilk, my Jill actress, on the changes (and her getting very excited with the wip animation and new position), I asked if she had any thoughts of dialogue to add. She responded with "giving me free reign to dirty talk is a dangerous road," to which I asked if she could give an example of what she thinks she'd end up saying if she was allowed to ad-lib during the creaming scene.

When her response was, and I quote now: " you know stuff along the lines of pump my slutty stomach full of your seed and stuff like that ", my decision was made. I was sold on "pump my slutty stomach," and I promptly revised the order she Jill gets her mouth pumped and cleared first, leaving Silky to dirty talk to her heart's content.

With that being said, I have hit a bit of a technical snag with the animation. As I mentioned earlier, the first pose is fully animated. Each of the penetrating Fun-Friends(TM) ended up taking nearly 90 minutes to animate. Each.

And that's just 2 of them. Move to the new pose, with 6 Fun-Friends, in a more complex motion, and I quickly came to the conclusion I need to find a different way to animate these. And that's where the aforementioned Tumblr post comes into play. The first position won't be changed, but the second one, expect to see some changes in the positioning of things - I will be animating the second position in 3dsMax, and then compiling the animations for use in Source Filmmaker.

Right now, I am working on the technical details involved in that process.

Beyond the sex scene itself, I have gotten all of the audio I need recorded and prepared, so the only thing I will be waiting on is the dub itself. And Silky has expressed such an intense interest in this project, combined with her schedule, I don't think the dub itself will take more than 3 days to get back to me.

Which means that once I get this scene animated, progress should fly. I also have the opening sequence more or less completely animated, as an aside. It was something I worked on late at night a few days.
