Progress Report - February 8, 2018 - Leliana Short, 1 Week In (Patreon)

Hello, everyone! Those of you who have been active on my Patreon Discord (which isn't very many of you - you guys should come join us!) are likely aware that I have been making solid progress on the Leliana short.

Here is a gfycat summary of some of the animation progress I have made so far. Keep in mind it's all highly WIP still!

It's been a pretty animation-heavy week, and I don't want go bore you all with an exhaustive list of the animations I've done (most of them are in the above gfycat anyways), but I can give you a general overview of how the production is going, progress-wise:

Core sex animations are done! I still have some detail work to do throughout, but the next step is to stretch out the sex animations for their estimated lengths, and then render the low-quality dub video for Ivan and Milly to do their magic.

Ivan's almost done recording his non-sex audio. Which admittedly isn't nearly as much as Leliana's (by design, the main male of the short isn't talkative; the point of the short, after all, is Leliana getting him to talk). But it's progress in a forward direction, which is good, because my plan is to send off the sex animation for dubbing, and lip-sync the non-sex audio while I wait for the dubbing.

Milly is currently recovering from a cough, but is going to try to get her audio to me by Monday the 12th. Assuming all goes to plan, I am expecting to have all the core animation done by Monday the 19th, and then hopefully have everything ready for release by Monday the 26th. That is, by no means, a definitive schedule, and things are prone to shift in either direction. But those are my personal goals, if everything goes the way I expect them to.

Beyond the Leliana short:

The voice-actress that I had picked out for Femshep's cameo in the after-credits of Blue Star Episode 3 got back to me late last night, after she had an unexpected series of events (nothing to worry about, thankfully) take her away from being able to work for a week or so, and has put together some new takes for her scene. She's currently tweaking her performance a bit, and hopefully will have that audio to me before Monday.

I have been slowly working on a special model project to release on Valentine's Day. The head is Miya from Sudden Attack 2, but she is not being built with Miya in mind. Instead, she is a realization of the small "tfw no big-tiddy goth girlfriend" meme. This Valentine's Day, everyone will be able to have a big-tiddy goth girlfriend, if they choose to.

Blue Star Episode 4 will have a rough draft of its screenplay posted this Sunday evening. It's a long ways off still, especially since after BSE4 I tackle Hiveship next, so I can't promise that things won't change for the episode (its entire setting has already changed once, though I am pretty satisfied with this current setting). But it should give a pretty good indication of what to expect, when the time finally comes.

Incognita and I are planning to resume production on the Elizabeth video by the beginning of March. She has a very hectic February, and there is no feasible way for her to even consider recording before the 20th. Progress on BSE3 will be paused as soon as the audio for the Elizabeth video comes in - getting it finally done and released is my highest priority.

I have been putting thought into starting another round of auditions for a co-animator, once BSE3 finishes. I have far too many ideas for my own good, and even with doing this full-time, there's only so much that one person can get done. The fact of the matter is, if I ever want to see my ideas realized - let alone done in a timespan to satisfy my wonderful Patrons - then I am going to need some help. That's a difficult challenge to overcome, but I am putting some thoughts into how exactly I can do that.
