January 26 - Progress Report (Patreon)

As far as Blue Star Episode 3 goes, this week wasn't the most forward-moving. Pretty much all of the work that was done was outside of SFM, and there were a few missteps that took place:

• Added subtitles for the post-sex scene (pictured above)
• Added music to both the post-sex and after-credits scenes
• Did some audio engineering for both the post-sex and after-credits scenes: Added reverb to all of the audio, put together some Foley for the Shadowbroker's keyboard, added subtle distortion for the through-a-monitor dialogue in the after-credits scene
• Got some audio for Femshep's cameo in the post-sex scene and lip-synced it - recanted the effort as, upon further inspection, I decided the Femshep audio wasn't up to my standards. Currently awaiting retakes for the Femshep cameo.

Beyond Blue Star Episode 3, I also got some progress made on pre-production for the Leliana short that's due in February, Honeydrop Interrogation:

• Completed the screenplay, which includes third-party proofreadings and approval from the voice-actress for Leliana.
• Found voices for the remaining characters in the Leliana short (two original characters)
• Negotiated an externally-sourced scenebuild for the Leliana short. It's nothing complicated, but the less time I have to spend on things that aren't animating, the more time I have to get the project done in under a month!

And beyond those two, Incognita and I have also made some progress on the Elizabeth video. I am experimenting with engaging her in the creative process for the dub scene (this is as much her project as it is mine, as she has been very explicit in telling me she wants to do a Liz-gets-creampied-a-lot project for quite some time). We currently have 3 out of the 5 sex-scenes drafted out for the dub. We were hoping to get the remaining 2 done today, but both our schedules ended up falling out, and so that didn't happen. We are rescheduling for trying to get it done as soon as possible. I will keep you all posted on that.

The Leliana short's screenplay will be posted Sunday evening, under the $2 reward. An excerpt of the Elizabeth video's screenplay was actually posted a while back. You can read it here.

If the Elizabeth video still hasn't been finished by February 11th (2 weeks from this Sunday), then I will post the full Elizabeth screenplay (including what all of the dub is done). If the Elizabeth video HAS been finished by then (and I fucking hope it has been), then I will post one of the following on February 11th:

• A high-level synopsis of Blue Star Episode 4
• A high-level synopsis of Hiveship
• An early draft of the upcoming Jill short, Radio Silence
• The screenplay for the unscheduled (and thus unpredicted) DVa video, working title Rigged.
