"Rigged" - High-Level Synopsis (Patreon)

Hey all!

So, some days past, I posted a DVa photo-set, and alluded to a DVa animation project.

I am here today to expound on that idea. The project already has a healthy chunk of animation complete, is going through the final stages of writing*, and has a voice actress excited for the opportunity to babble in Korean (she isn't a native speaker, but is a large consumer of Korean media).

With that being said, here is the high-level synopsis of the project:

Moments after her world-championship victory in an 8-player Free-For-All StarCraft tournament, DVa's live international television broadcast is hijacked by a malicious hacker. In response to a commentator's question of "How does she do it?", the broadcast is replaced with shocking footage answering exactly that question: by bribing her 7 male opponents into throwing the game for her, in exchange for some sweet Korean tail.

A simple premise, but an effective one I feel.

As I've said before, this project is unscheduled: it's falling through the cracks, so to speak. I managed to get a head-start on it during my vacation, but now that I am back at my apartment, I am returning to my new 2018 work schedule. Which means that I will only have time to work on this project during off hours and free days - during Long months, such as this January, I will only give myself maybe two or three days to work on it; and during Short months, I only get the days between the Patreon release of the short and the start of next month.

Which also means I can't give any projection as to when this project is done. It will be following the old scheduling metric of "it's done when it's done." But as I make progress on it, I will be sure to make posts about it, under the $5 WIP tier.

*I did this project a bit out of order: I had a basic idea, animated the major components, and then went to work actually writing the details out. I have it written, but am currently "trimming out the fat" so to speak.
