Hello, everyone!

So, as my $5+ Patrons probably know, from the last Blue Star WIP I posted, Act 2 of the sex scene is approaching its conclusion. I was hoping to have it done by yesterday evening.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen, in large part to a cascade of events that  occurred all at once.

The least savory of those events was my getting embroiled in a dispute between an animator and a voice actor, both of whom being people I respect. Luckily, that dispute was resolved peacefully, when my rigorous investigation revealed that the heart of the problem was a miscommunication, born from the animator's project growing unexpectedly, combined with the voice actor's organization becoming frantic and disheveled.

FAR MORE INTERESTING, THOUGH! Both Milly and Incognita managed to get their audio to me within the same 24-hour span - Milly's recording for the Witcher micro, and Incognita's re-recording (due to my changing he lines) for Blue Star Episode 3. Innie has also informed me that she's gotten her BAS Liz voice to a level she's satisfied with, and is currently in the process of cleaning up and finalizing her audio for the much-delayed "Wall-bang" project.

Combine all of this with the model projects I've been working on, such as fixing Maya, making a sex machine, and building a new strap-on, and then throw on the fact I've been negotiating with a professional voice actress whose shown her interest in voicing Shepard in Blue Star (and other projects), and I've had one hell of an unexpectedly busy few days.

Unfortunately, that means Blue Star Episode 3 has barely moved forward since the last post a few days ago. But I'm hoping that, in light of all of this progress and the other things that I've been dealing and working with, people will be understanding and accept the minimal progress.

I am currently shooting for Monday evening to get Act 2 done for realsies. As always, no promises. But that's the target.

Always funny how work suddenly floods in at once. Do you see Act 3 as being possibly easier than the first two. since there's less extremities to work with?

I see it being both easier in some ways, and more difficult in others. It will definitely be easier in the fact that hands and fingers play a much, MUCH smaller role in it. And I have a lot of the animations already figured out - even if I don't use the exact animations I've done, I can use them as a basis for when I recreate them. At the same time, though, I think it will be more difficult in terms of transitions. I have a lot a few different positions I want to do, and a few different variations within those positions (broadly, there's the "both doing equal work", "Liara making most of the motion", and the "Shadowbroker making most of the motion"; the last can also be thought of "Shadowbroker jerking himself off using Liara's asshole" :P). I suspect I might be able to get away with a lot of the transitions by simply cross-fading them. The original script called for implying that they fuck for like 6 hours solid or something. Nothing I've written rules that out, and so I can simply put a clock on the monitors, and have the cross-fades suggest some large chunks of time have passed. Honestly I think the *hardest* part of Act 3 will be keeping it *interesting*. That's always a bit of a challenge for me, because it can be difficult for me to determine "how long can I rest on this shot and just let her moan her heart out before it starts to get boring?" and then the related "how long can I stick to this animation loop core before it starts to get boring?". The difficulty is exacerbated by the fact I don't get the dubbed audio until AFTER the shot lengths are called and the cuts are made - so I have to IMAGINE how hot the shots are with Innie moaning her heart out. That's why I generally have a healthy spattering of dirty talk throughout the sex scene, to fill that vacuum. But with all of the talking already in this episode, especially in the sex scene, with Act 1 being Liara expressing her submissiveness, and Act 2 being the Shadowbroker asserting his dominance, I would like to cut that down as much as I can in Act 3. Take a stance of "The words have been spoken, now let the moans say the rest." That being said, Innie has voiced interest in that she'd like it if the Shadowbroker were choking Liara when he finally blows his load in her ass. I suspect I'll need some dirty talk for setting that up, so I know already I won't be able to cut it out entirely. Similarly, when the Shadowbroker first pops her anal cherry, I can't see that going down without some dirty talk. In the end, though, I can't say for certain what kinds of difficulties and unexpected eases I'll run into, until I get knee-deep in the muck. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

I see. Having assisted in writing scripts for another artist I've found that dialogue is best place at the beginning of the sex (as you said the anal cherry popping), and before or after the transitions. It can also fall into a style choice, as your typical porn usually has the partners saying "fuck" or "oh yeah" over and over. Whereas in say hentai the girl tends to detail what's happening to her body.

If all goes according to plan, I intend to make it a recurring joke, with Triss, Yennefer, and Ciri all implying "tending to the horses" in their respective shorts. What more, with each short, they imply that they were all together when they tended the horses. If I actually manage to get all three shorts done, then a fourth finally revealing the tending is only a natural consequence. Assuming all the voice actresses involved are okay with it, of course. :)

I'd say the important thing is that everything is starting to get relatively organized so you can continue working again. Also do take care of yourself, I'd hate to see you over worked and not getting anything done so do remember to take a breather every now and then. Yes, I would love to see more of your work but I don't want it to happen at your health's expense.

Sounds like things are coming together for the most part. Any progress on the Rebecca massive gangbang project?

Haven't touched the Rebecca project since I last did. I am thinking that, once BSE3 is finally published, I will work on the Rebecca project as a side-project to some other things I want to do.
