Fun character drawing excercize (Patreon)

I was gone for the weekend and today is my first day drawing again. To warm up, I wanted to doodle a character, and I've had this girl from Dead Dead Demon in my mind forever! (Great manga btw would highly recommend it. Inio Asano's character designs are ultra unique imo. They're super grounded, but he also takes things in a much different direction than your usual manga artist.

Anyway, the idea was to take her and mash her up with another character, and since I've been listening to the End of EVA ost a bunch I picked this scene with Asuka. Tbh she makes a perfect Asuka.

Referencing a gif was SO cool by the way, being able to scrub through made the model much easier to understand. Maybe I should make this a gif sometime!
