First, i just wanted to say thank you. Thanks to your support i started to rent a office , and now i have my own comfortable place to work.
I feel much better now, because i started to walk outside, communicate with people and stopped being a cave man with a computer !

Some bad news are that i received a DMCA massage from Nintendo, and was forced to remove around 180 posts from patreon. That hurts, really really hurts. Reading your comments under posts for the last time was terrible.

I am not sure what to do now, but all i know is that the best way to get all content that i make is to join a Discord server.
https://discord.gg/fJpgDY2vRY

Don't forget to attache your discord account on patreon. If you do that - you are going to join a discord server automatically and bot is going to give you a role!

If you have any problems with your roles, just DM me there, i will help. Don';t be shy, i am not biting ; )

Much love!

Oof that's gotta hurt. Will still be supporting you from whatever platform you choose to work with!

Shiny Umbreon

As much as I love your pokemon art(it's literally why I signed up), your non pokemon art is every bit as good, so I doubt this will harm you too much in the end

lawjr

much love man. fuck nintendo

That sucks huge time, hell take it as a bit of an honor that you got big enough to get recognized by Nintendo lol. I thought they turned a blind eye to this stuff because they can't accept their characters being sexualized

Burgerman420

Nintendo hates porn

CountMoxi

Damn I'm sorry to hear that man :[ I hope you don't let this get you too down, we'll be here to support whatever you make next! ^-^

Can you imagine someone sitting here going though and picking every post out and flagging it. Maybe Dropbox/mega of everything that's been taken down? :0

Everything is going to be right man

sotoco

Keep doing stuff and we will keep supporting, no matter where :)

Nintendo actually scours the internet for any and all Nintendo content based off of tags and keywords, basically they only care if it says the species of characters they own, hence why Pokémon content is so heavily regulated by Nintendo, but Animal crossing and Mario franchise stuff aren't as easily found because they can't just own the names of actual people, like Mario, Luigi, Audie, etc.

Parker Trotter

I'll keep supporting whatever you draw. I support for your work, not a particular brand. (If I'm being 💯 I'm really okay with you making art of non Nintendo characters)

Nureus

Well, I know some other creators that this happened to and they still continue making content they just make it harder for the N bot to flag. Posting that new work is up here and then showing on discord or another site that needs an encryption key that they can’t find easily would probably work. Also I think they use code names for the characters instead to again keep the N bot from finding it. Anywho I hope this helps with allowing you to find workarounds.

Insanemane

It is what it is unfortunately

I bet Nintendo uses a ROB unit to search for content in the internet. It'a old, out dated, has very archaic way of thinking, and tries to deny baby making.

Chelodoy

The problem is that some arts were flagged for removal, but they were not containing any keywords or something.

Parker Trotter

I did kinda get that vibe, you did Nintendo properties alot. I am sorry they can be so petty.

On a positive note, if they strike it for copyright that means it's canon, right?

Ungadunga

Nintendo is the worst why do they hate porn so much when that’s the main reason Pokémon stayed so popular

Slikfiji

oh well nothing to be done now. Just keep making new stuff.

Gray

can't believe that you can CC art, that should be free use. ask you gotta do is credit where the character came from. anyway, you know you made it big when the Corp is trying to stop you, keep doing you!<3

Gray

i wanna say someone probably reposted the art and added the keywords there, then Nintendo found that and traced back to source. especially if they credited you (like they should) it would make it pretty easy

Sorry for your luck Chelo, but if nintendo does not want you drawing their characters that is okay. We want to see more Abby and Kara <3

LavenderFox

Ah Nintendo, trying to throw their weight around again lol. Legally speaking, there is nothing they can do, but they love to scare artists and convince content distributors that they are in the right. There are charitable lawyers out there who will go to court on the artist's behalf to slap Nintendo and Disney's hand over this stuff. Lol

LavenderFox

Here's one resource I found if you're ever curious. Or for future situations. https://www.transformativeworks.org/legal/

The vast majority of the time, it's not actually Nintendo, but people impersonating them to fuck with people.
