Here we are, siting at just over the half-way point, give or take. While I usually say that building each chapter if different or unique, based on numerous variables, most have been done in a fairly linear fashion. Sure, I've shifted some sequences around for better pacing. This time around, though, because of my day job, I've had to build the longer sequences on the weekend, well out of chronological order and then fill in the shorter sequences when I have time. So, that means that there's some gaps between moments that I need to fill and frankly test out for continuity.

For those who don't want spoilers, I'd suggest skipping the rest of the update after the progress tracker. It won't directly spoil a plot point, per se, but a mechanic that features in the way you interact with some of the characters going towards the game's end.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOLLOWS

Okay, let me say the Chapter 20 will be the first time you'll get "flags" that impact the game's end. If you've been avoiding to do anything with Naomi, this time around turning her down will put an end to her advances. Also, the same goes for her mother. So, if you haven't spent time with Alice over the past two chapters, you won't be able to do anything more going forward. These two states will lock out certain ending/epilogue states going forward. It's my plan to keep them engaged in the story, especially conversationally, but if you've trigger these flags, "play time" will get passed over.

Thanks for your support and your interest,

Thanks for the update and letting us know about the flags. You reminded me to make several saves so I can see how the story plays out - like yes/no Alice.
