When Greg refers to the "rambling community" during the prize task, he's basically talking about hikers. Ramblers are specifically people who walk along public footpaths in the countryside for fun, exercise, socialising, and even (in a small number of cases) for political reasons, as many of the earliest ramblers before World War II were left-wing activists trying to preserve public access to ancient land and paths that were being closed off by private landowners, and a few try to keep that tradition alive. Greg ironically suggests they're arrogant, because in actual fact they're basically harmless enthusiasts. The tune David sets his serenade to is the 16th-century English folk melody Greensleeves. There's a Christmas carol called What Child Is This that used the tune, and I think it's fairly popular in the US (certainly more so than in the UK), so that might be why you recognised it as a Christmas song. Also very widely used over here as a jingle for ice-cream vans. I'm not aware of any outtakes from this episode, but I think you might have missed out the two I posted for episode 3 and jumped straight onto E4, so I'll stick E3's on here again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9VaFslDpVk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfwtrK8HOtI

Dunno if you picked up on it or not but in the live task Katherine said 'yes my Lord' to Greg which was a reference to her changing his name to Lord Greg Davies in her series. Sad missing Katie for these last couple but it's so fun seeing the former champions back!

Was lucky enough to get tickets to see series 16 this week, good line up coming in September.. and awesome to be in the taskmaster studio and Alex isn't even that little!? 😂👍🏼

Daniel

It was great! A friend got the tickets as he follows Alex on Twitter so if you don't already might be worth a follow 😁👍🏼
