Goooood

Sam

Surprise appearance from Susan from season 1 of I'm Alan Partridge. I always recognise her voice.

Thomas McDonald

The place they dumped the sofa at is the Cerne Abbas Giant. It's a national monument currently believed to have been made about 1000 years ago (between 700 and 1100). Tony and Gary must've been committed to dumping the sofa there, considering it's in Dorchester and they live in Croydon (about a 3 hour drive each way, hah).

(Just) Steve

When my friend was just a poor student his parents gave him an old spare sofa they had. It became known as, 'The Beer Sofa', because his girlfriend wouldn't let us sit on the other sofa as we were usually pissed as a fart and she didn't want any potential spillage issues. Years later, after much nagging from his girlfriend, they bought some new furniture and were going to throw out 'The Beer Sofa'?! I rescued it before it went to landfill and kept it for many years until circumstances dictated I had to let it go. (I was just like Gary!) But a different friend knew how ridiculously comfortable that sofa was so it got passed on to him, and at least then I could still visit my beloved sofa. (until his girlfriend made him get rid of it and I didn't even get chance to say, 'Goodbye'...)

Hope you feel better soon Josh. The Cerne Giant hill figure at the end has been there for centuries :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerne_Abbas_Giant?wprov=sfla1

Balkyne

I will always remember her as the first mother from My Parents are Aliens as I grew up with that show. She had the perfect voice for someone that was pretending to be human lol

We doing the Christmas Special and the 3 part "Last Orders" that rounds up Men Behaving Badly? All exceptional episodes

Sam

I don't know that show but yes, definitely could play an alien with her voice haha. During lockdowns I binged Grange Hill and she turned up as a reporter who Robbie Wright (John Alford) chatted up and took to prom as well I think.
