If you get a chance Josh, you should rewatch the show at some point with the dvd commentary. They are all in character discussing the show, and it's arguably just as funny or funnier.

Hey Josh, Samuel requested that Danger 5 be added to the polls. That show got made off of the back of Italian Spiderman, a short film which is freely available on YouTube, which I'll link to bellow. It would be cool if you did a reaction to it on your YouTube channel, as it doesn't fit your normal Patreon voting criteria. Italian Spiderman is like the Spaghetti Western version of Black Dynamite. Is it just me who thinks that poached egg in soup actually sounds really good?! Might try it out.

I think it's been mentioned by others, but this series definately reminded me of Police Squad, which I think Josh would love. From looking online it seems both Police Squad and Darkplace were a bit let down by their TV networks and by viewers not really getting what the creators were trying to do. Such a shame. Also mad to think that Peep Show was in very real danger of going down the same route and getting cancelled after the first season for the same reasons!

It's quite poignant(and meta) that the commentary at the end could apply to the real show itself and its reputation at this point in time. 'None of us had any idea people would still be talking about it now' and Matt Berry repeating 'you and he were buddies' almsot as though they intuited that the line would become iconic. This has been my favourite of all the shows I've either discovered or re-discovered on this channel. I can't quite fathom why it didn't click first time around because it so perfectly suits my tastes. Thanks to those who recommended it.
