First!

Sam

Daniel Mays is such a great actor. Likely won't see him in anything else here unless this Patreon branches out into dramas/thrillers though.

I bet Bob Mortimer liked this episode. It's like Barry Homeowner having a crisis.

James Mason

It would probably take about 5 minutes or so to knock a person out using chloroform. So, a bit of poetic licence being used there, I think.

mrtheevilmage

we may have to eventualy just cause we are slowly running out of good comedies

TheHigh

watch ya towels tay xD

That trope is right up there with people being knocked out on the head and then waking up later. Duuuuhhhhh... if you hit someone on the head to the extent that they pass out, then that person has literal brain damage and concussion. Bashing someone on the head is not a sedative, akin to a sleeping tablet. Awful, lazy, hackneyed trope that needs to die. Also, don't get me started on the literal silence of "silencer" guns in movies. "Silencers" are a sound displacement. They don't make a tiny little pfft pfft sound. Proper pisses me off every time a movie or TV show invokes these tropes.

Sam

I'd quite like it. It could be 2 x long and 2 x short comedies a week and 1 long and short dramas. Things like Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, Line of Duty, Being Human, Luther, Broadchurch etc.

Did you not recognise the actress Daisy Haggard, Josh? She plays Debbie in Psychoville.

One twist too many this episode, I feel. Furthermore, the entire plan is ludicrous. The Husband transfers the money and then... well, he reports it to the bank because it's fraud and the money is refunded. The End.

He does it all the time. Its utterly tiresome. I bet his girlfriend is sick of him being “first”

ALW

And it requires the most naive and stupid police officers imaginable.

Colin Bayley

Josh. Further to your opening monologue a number of these are reworking of stories that have appeared elsewhere. They have just changed enough to keep out of court.

Daryl

That just very well might be the comment of the month. 🤣

Z is for Zed

Whoever mentioned Alan Wake was bang on. Personally, I like Sam Lake's stories much more than that last episode of Inside No. 9. This one was fun though, always nice to see Daisy.

Why is it if I see a woman peeing like that I'm ok with it, but if she's taking a dump it grosses me out?
