Love this show but I hate bad continuity. Geraldine told David in an earlier series that her real name was Boadacia.

Not a massive fan of how this show ended. After years of watching the developing affection between Geraldine and David, it would have been nice to see them get together. Not necessary, but nice. There was no emotional attachment to this new guy. And we weren't really shown a reason why Geraldine fell in love with him, other than he's a handsome man who happened to be interested in her. For a show that was in some ways very feminist (focusing on the issue of a woman priest when it was still very constroversial), I don't like how Geraldine was written as happy to take any available guy who came along, because she was so desperate for a husband. First the guy who she mistakenly thought was proposing to her (she barely even knew him and she said yes!), then David's brother, who she'd only just met and planned to move across the country to be near, and then this guy. Not a great portrayal of a modern women. #menwritingwomen
