Spoiler Free: I was surprised I enjoyed this episode so much. I don't remember anyone mentioning this episode being so funny. That's probably why I enjoyed it so much because it wasn't hyped up so I went into it with low expectations.

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

Daniel Radcliff trying to be seen as this manly man was priceless. When he pulled out an unraveled condom I cracked up because I unraveled a condom to try to put it on lol. I remember keeping a condom in my wallet at all times just in case. I didn't realize that I was slowly destroying the condom. The down syndrome scene and him knocking out Warwick was hilarious. I really enjoyed this episode.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Extras: Season 2, Episode 3 Daniel Radcliffe

Please enable JavaScript to experience Vimeo in all of its glory. First comes the success, then the backlash, and the British press aren't about to change the rules. Andy has incurred their wrath and needs an experienced PR guru to help him, but unfortunately agent Darren Lamb is the only one willing to take on the role.

Hype ruins most things in fairness.

My (current) favourite episode of season 2 although you could make an argument for any episode in this series (apart from the robert deniro episode maybe). Love steven merchant in this episode

Andrew

I was so hyped to read the comments, then this one ruined that for me

Yeh see I didn't see how a condom works before I tried to use one the first time I attempted sex. I say attempted because she was older than me and I was under age, even for the UK. So I was super nervous, we only had two.... I broke both of them somehow... she said "I have a headache" and went. Now I look back all these years later, 1. I cannot believe she used that cliche, but 2. I know now she was just trying to escape lol. Back then I was dumb enough to believe her :S Though when she ignored me afterwards I got it lol. The worst thing was she told everyone I couldn't get it up which was needlessly embarrassing, why not just say what happened? However I was 14 and she was 17 so her friends were probably thinking "wtf?" lol.

Love this episode !! Steve makes me howl!! So sad Dame Diana died not long ago. But she had a fab life and brilliant acting career.. .Loved her character in g.o.t aswell!!

Adam C Turek

Sadly Dame Diana Rigg passed away not too long ago. She was awesome in the Original Avengers and GoT, plus she was the one woman that James Bond married (not including the Asian woman for undercover mission)

NEXUS

This was always my top 3 episode of extras along with the special. The reporter scene was absolutely hilarious and shows how fake news is before the term fake news was uttered. Every part of this episode is great and the actors.

Darren: Suicide bombers get lotto funding, look at that. Andy: what’s that gotta do with me? Darren: Well nothing it’s just shocking isn’t it? Andy: Best sigh I’ve seen on TV

Hahaa that bit about the 52" plasma TV and David Dickinson is real! Steve actually tells that story on one of the XFM shows!

Louis Hessey-Antell

I think the conversation between Darren and Warwick tickles the American crowd. I remember Merchant on O&A and a caller called in and picked out that scene specifically. I think culturally you're better with the humour on that subject.

There's a short scene after the credits you missed...!

Toby Lewis

Karl said just watch a portable up close. They’ve stolen a few of his jokes, I’m sure he doesn’t mind.

I remember Steve talking about how his new TV was way too big on the XFM show, so weird seeing how the time lines of these shows all overlap

This was one of my faves.

The Journalist scene is so funny, its how I imagine all journalists at The Sun 😂

I actually mentioned this episode in the YouTube comment section of the Patrick Stewart Extras clip but think the video was taken down. It was def my fav of the whole series

AfterWorkReactions

It is very interesting, I like how they overlap and hint around jokes that are from other shows or pop culture.

I'm happy that nobody mentioned it, I never do that. I think when something gets hyped too much, it can lose a lot of impact. This had the surprise element. It's in my top 3 episodes, and I'm glad you got to see it this way.

Definitely one of the best episodes. Daniel played his part will and Steve Merchant really gets to shine in this episode. Warwick comes in and steals the scene right at the end! You definitely need to check out Life's too short. Would be a good replacement for Extras.

the scrounging in the bins beforehand. definitely accurate

This was a really good one. I agree Daniel did great and Steve did play a great part in this episode I enjoyed it a whole lot. I will keep that one in mind bud thank you!

Austin Stratton

If I was a Patron before this was recorded I would definitely have pointed this episode out to you as being one of the ones you'd love.. The whole Ricky and Warwick fight, Daniel Radcliffe trying to be a player with all the women because of his status and Stephen Merchant just destroying his reputation on the TV.. so may good moments!
