2019 Summary and 2020 Plans (Patreon)

Hey everyone, it looks like the Pixen dance animation will have to wait a bit. I've decided to add more to that animation so it'll take time.

How was your New Year's celebration? I want to talk about some stuff about last year and my plans for this year.

2019 (Summary)

  • Probably one of the worst years for me. Some real-life issues getting in the way and I wasn't able to make a lot of proper content. (Lack of motivation, burnout, stress, etc.) Sorry about this one, guys!
  • The Noir animation is considered a CANCELLED project until I decide to revive it in the future.
  • Despite all of this, Party Games was made in 4 months with a running time of 11 minutes, so I'm quite happy about that!

2020 (Plans)

  • At least 1 big NSFW fan animation (similar to the Persona 5 parody). 
  • 1 big NSFW original animation. I'll try to squeeze in some quick lewd GIFs while this is in progress.
  • 1 short SFW animation. Honestly, I'd like to just try something different other than hentai. I might pause your pledges if this is in progress.
  • If I don't have the time to finish what I stated above, then we'll go with short NSFW loops/GIFs.

Please note that the plan above would be the best-case scenario. I'd also like to know what you guys think? What you'd like to see? Or just any questions in general? I'll try to answer as much as I can. Thank you!

Don't think you should pause the pledges during the SFW animation. Think most of your patreons support your work even if some of it isn't that lewd. If SFW is what comes out, well, at least it will keep you a bit sane so we can have you not burn out and stop producing content all together.

I shed a tear for Noir getting cancelled but I'd rather you work on projects that inspire you. Also I'd still back you for SFW animations, you make great work. And take care yourself!

Take your time and stay healthy. You have plenty of time to make art. Most of us aren't going anywhere.

I think its important to take breaks from stress, burnout has killed many things for me too. But I know you gotta make money to eat and stuff lol.

Heck the SFW stuff sounds like a good idea because it would let you stay in the space of art but you'd be working differently for what you would consider "work" or "grinding"

NSFW and SFW are just a bit odd, do your art, inevitably you will have stuff in those 2 boxes and others. Please do not pause the pledges when your characters have clothes on... way too silly.

I love your lewd stuff, but also the non lewd, so please don't pause my pledges lol Take care of yourself too, and keep that lovely muse of yours happy with whatever you feel like creating.

That's true! Sometimes I think some stories are better off when there's no lewd content associated with it. It's really challenging to put the two together.

I’d like to echo many of your patrons above - please don’t pause my pledge when you shift genres. I’m here to support you and your work. Hell, I’ll pledge elsewhere if you set it up that way! You already know you’re considered one of the best artists on the internet and it’s so hard to find quality 2D hentai (esp from the outside Japan). Whatever you do, I want to support. That being said, stoked for 2020!

My main thought is that you deserve to be able to take breaks. You work harder than a lot of people and you put your all into your pieces. It really shows how hard you work and how much love you put into your craft. Every piece is absolutely beautiful and I look up to you bunches ❤️❤️❤️ Id love to see some SFW animation from you! You have this playful side to your works and I always get the feeling that you have many a tale that you want to tell. Please allow me to continue to support you during any of these times. i just came here to say you definitely should be proud of party games. you could have worked on only that all year and i'd still think it was wild as hell. new patron here; looking forward to hanging out with you guys for 2020!

Looks good Derpi! One suggestion: I think your work is best with sound (I love your sound design) so even on the short animations/gifs I'd love for there to be some kinky noises!

1/ Sad to know that you had a bad year. We are a lot in this case. 2/ I am a big fan of Fandel Tales. But i like ladies with guns/weapons in general 3/ If you need ideas, or maybe some drawing, maybe i can help.

Had another burst of inspiration - a niche interest I think you might like to explore is themes with multiple ghost hands or maybe invisible thingies.

It just felt too ambitious at the time. When I do storyboards of an animation, usually the running time is doubled in the final animation due to dialogue and etc. I was only planning Noir to be under 6 minutes, but when I finished half of the storyboard...it was already 6 minutes. So that would mean the project could already reach 12 minutes, and I haven't even started with the other half.
