A curious bird, an owlypuff is.
They live among living ones for quite some time. In their homes, in their cities, in their hearths.
But never as a pet, no.
Oh no, owlypuff is not a pet. It is a companion, a friend in the first  place. Cute wingless bird won't live somewhere it does not like - thus,  it is a symbol of well being, a home worth of keeping.
They feed on small insects and pests that usually dwell alongside living  ones. In wilderness owlypuffs dwell in burrows, and if they move close  to warmth of a house - they choose to live whenever they please.
