I love listening to Al talk, but it keeps feeling like he has a voice modulator on his headset to make it have a robotic echo?

I think Jeff Jarrett sold Al his old podcasting rig that was always having bandwidth and quality issues. But also Al probably wasnt expecting to have a sudden massive demand for interviews and made some adjustments to his service and hardware.

I watched one of the Netflix episodes last night and could hear that, I dont know what audiologists would call it. But he's certainly in the business where vocal cords could be damaged from trauma or lots of yelling and talking.
