Soapbox time. Something will come up in the news and a popular phrase of Conrad's in just "we need to do better". 99% of the time, we don't need to do better. We just need to cut the fucking shit. When Connie uses this term, it's always been in relationship to shit that never should've happened and that there's no excuse for. The WWE is giving all the money from Bray's merch directly the family. For some strange reason, people feel the reason to praise them for this. We need to "do better" by looking down on people who who wouldn't do this type of thing instead of looking up to people that do. I know they don't have to give them anything that's not in the original agreement. I don't care. Higher standards to me means looking down on the morons for doing what they do instead of ignoring them and praising people who do what they should. Take just a second to put yourself on one side of this equation. Of course you give the family all the money. Now put yourself on the other side of the equation. I think I'd feel like an ignorant piece of shit ONLY giving them that much. I agree with holding ourselves to a higher standard. We just need to do a better job at picking the times, places and situations and pull our heads out of our asses with some of the really bad stuff. /rant. Friday? I'll be drunk as a skunk and high as a kite in no time I'll feel better then.
