Opening promo kinda missed me.. he talked how soft the Elite are. When in reality it all started because his soft ass got up set with a promo from hangman lol

Amazing! It’s a miracle!!

Collision was fine. It seemed very safe and very tried & tested, the most WWE-like thing AEW have done. Can't help but wonder if that's why it went down with Eric so much, and I (try) say that without shade

Other than the counterfeit bucks line, I thought Punk's promo was kind of uninspired. From the ESPN interview, any shade he threw seems to still be with Page, dude ain't squashed his beef yet 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lol it's usually projection. Any time people use words like "soft", "snowflake", or "safe space" are often the biggest whiners about everything they don't agree with or upsets them.

Loved this bonus! And also the swerve from Eric’s tweet, I kept waiting for him to turn and trash it. A

I think we had all the anticipation that he was going to be overly critical. And to our surprise he liked it. It wouldnt shock me if this was the first full episode of AEW he's watched in a long time. Not that he or Conrad have the weekly time to keep up with all the content out there.

Great episode 🏆

I actually really liked this. I think there's room and even need for an unbiased review of wrestling these days from somebody with product knowledge? Can Eric do that on a regular basis or will his controversy creates cash mentality get in the way? I actually unsubscribed from Jim Cornette's shows because he turned the volume up on his character too much. I think he's actually slightly tarnished his integrity with how much he's turned it up. I'd like to see more of these. But wouldn't want to see Eric go down that same path.

Not to be negative, but I tried to watch AEW a few times and couldn't get through an entire show. People like it so I never found a reason to be vocal, because who cares. But I did enjoy most of Collision, as it felt like a good balanced show and good pacing. Good chat and review on this episode. Would like breakdowns of different shows (AEW or WWE), at random, just to see different points of view.

I have finally got round to watching the debut episode, and honestly think it is a pile of garbage. Will be glad when the six man man main event has finished.
