We're discussing a long talked about event while you were just 5 months into TNA - Victory Road 2011!

What was your role in early 2011 in TNA?

Coming off the previous pay-per-view - Against All Odds - Jeff Hardy had retained the TNA World Title over Mr. Anderson, Jeff Jarrett defeated Kurt Angle, Bully Ray defeated Brother Devon and Rob Van Dam beat Matt Hardy in the top matches.

Something we’ve never really delved into but I have to ask it - the whole Jeff - Kurt - Karen situation and story - were you awkward? Were they awkward? What was the feeling about it at the time?

Did you agree with making it an on-air story?

At the time Jeff Hardy being TNA World Champion was a bit of a controversial move due to his pending case from his arrest in September of 2009. Do you remember there being any doubt in keeping Jeff as champion?

How’s it look for the company that’s trying to build brand awareness and you have the likes of Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair there - and your World Champion is awaiting his plea agreement to be finalized?

TNA is building to two shows at the time - a heavily promoted March 3rd Impact that was to be taped on February 24th in Fayetteville, North Carolina - which would incorporate Hulk Hogan’s return to TV and the resolution of the courtroom angle with Hulk & Dixie…and also the Jarrett wedding ceremony and then Victory Road.

Eric on 83 weeks has said a lot - that TNA’s biggest profit center was TV rights. Do you think it was a mistake for TNA to keep putting on pay-per-views?

When you’re building to a heavily promoted Impact, at the same time you’re building to a pay-per-view just 10 days later…are you able to really maximize everything you have going on?

It was noted in the Torch that Jason Hervey - of Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment - was backstage at Impact tapings and it was the first time he was seen since TNA’s “Reaction” show was canceled at the end of 2010. Did you see any of that and what did you think of the concept?

What is/was your relationship to Jason Hervey and what did you think of what he could bring to the product?

Bischoff has a group of people at this point in a stable of Gunner, Murphy, Matt Hardy & Rob Terry before introducing current champion Jeff Hardy. This…wasn’t the best heel stable was it? I mean Chris Harris isn’t in it at least right?

Bischoff would end up getting in a promo battle on Impact with Flair and the whole story is that Flair and Hogan have finally gotten on the same page. The Flair-Bischoff-Hogan story would be the focus - but you have the World Champion Jeff Hardy right there - was the focus in the wrong spot do you think?

There’s also a lot of Network executive talk and how they were plotting against Bischoff and Jeff - do you remember what the plan was with the “Network?”

On one Impact episode in the build to Victory Road it features a pretty infamous match - where Hernandez takes on Douglas Williams and it’s the worst Border Toss you’ve ever seen. You’re in gorilla when it happens I’m assuming - did you think Hernandez killed Williams?

Was there a lot of heat on Hernandez for that and for working this style? Do you think that’s why he never got over the hump in TNA?

Ric Flair turns heel on AJ Styles in an Impact match helping Matt Hardy get the win over him. Were you hoping to see AJ vs. Ric take place in a TNA ring?

In a story that makes no sense - the network has determined that Rob Van Dam will challenge Jeff Hardy on Impact for the TNA Title because of ratings - something Bischoff is unable to overrule - but Bischoff somehow is able to grant Mr. Anderson the ability to be the special guest referee. Bruce chat me up - does this make any sense? Why make the story based around ratings if fans don’t care about them?

Also a show long storyline was Jeff & Karen doing various things in prep of their upcoming vow renewal - and they go to dinner where Karen is unhappy with the food and drink and Jeff chews out the chef before Kurt comes in and they powder out. Did you produce these segments?

What would you say was the state of TNA at this point in time? Were you still getting your feet wet on things or were you fully entrenched?

What were the glaring issues?

The main event of Impact is Rob Van Dam losing to Jeff after Jeff hits him low and Mr. Anderson misses it as referee. Rob Van Dam taking on Jeff Hardy would normally be a big deal - but here it just feels like a match. Why is that do you think?

Mr. Anderson is really being pushed here as a top babyface - holding the show hostage - saying Eric and Hulk and even the Network don’t like him and it’s because he’s an asshole - did people really believe Anderson was the next Stone Cold?

Crimson would make his singles debut at this time and he would defeat Magnus in 2 minutes. Where did you think Crimson could go in TNA?

From the Torch:

•Tenay talked about how everyone has been impressed with (Rob) Terry’s massive muscles. Steiner walked out in a suit and said he pissed him off by calling himself a genetic freak. He said come up with something original. He said he looks like he’s a couple vitamins away from a chemical disaster. Steiner said he wasn’t going to walk out in Speedos “like some Chippendale.” He said he’s going to put on his wrestling singlet and kick his ass. Terry said he was running away because he’s stronger, bigger, faster, and smarter. Terry hit Steiner from behind with a barbell and a clothesline. Then he choked him out. Security ran out.

This is just two big dudes going after each other - but man saying he’s a couple vitamins away from a chemical disaster - not the best was it?

“Taz said the truck just received video footage. The video showed a rainy scene with boots walking as lighting flashed with the date 3-3-11, a play on the Undertaker vignettes.”

Was the inspiration the Undertaker vignettes from the WWE? Did you think that makes TNA look second rate?

Do you think TNA needed Sting to come back? Was this the first time you would’ve been working with Sting since the UWF or maybe the last Nitro?

What was it about Sting that when he entered an arena made things feel different?

Dixie Carter - as it’s reported - had said that Sting was close to a deal with WWE but TNA was able to keep Sting in the fold. Is that how you remember it?

From the Torch:

“Angelina Pivarnick appeared at the TNA Impact tapings in Fayetteville, N.C. For what it’s worth, some TNA talent claim they were told by the office that she did the appearance for exposure and was not paid. However, the word is that she received $7,000 for the one night deal, and there was no deal for a return appearance as part of the original agreement. She’s said to be open to the idea of working for TNA again, but it’s hard to imagine the company making a similar financial offer.”

Bruce - this is the 7th…8th…9th…most popular member of Jersey Shore…and she got $7000?!??! Is this a Dixie Carter gimmick?

Also backstage was Jonny Fairplay - and according to the Torch - was looking for work. Bruce - do you have any good Jonny Fairplay stories?

Angelina wasn’t the only reality television star backstage, as former “Survivor” contestant Jonny Fairplay attended the show. He wore a wild suit and was said to be looking for work. Amazingly, the talk regarding his backstage behavior was favorable, and some TNA officials seemed to be receptive to the idea of using him again. Do you have any Jonny Fairplay stories?

From the Torch:

Hulk Hogan returned at the Fayetteville taping. He was wearing a back brace due to his various back surgeries, but he told people that he hasn’t been dealing with as much pain as he has in the past. Hogan noted on Twitter this week that he would like to be back in the ring before the end of

the year. I initially assumed he was just having some online fun, but a source reports that Hogan was actually talking backstage about returning to the ring at some point. How was the Hulkster physically? Was he in that bad of shape?

Hulk is known to exaggerate - did you think this was an exaggeration - and did you think you would ever see him in the ring again?

It’s reported in the Torch that there was a lot of head shaking amongst the talent that for the big Fayetteville taping - the only billboard to promote it was the sign was only visible to traffic heading out of town. Is that just the typical TNA?

It is at this point that Bischoff accepts a position as an executive producer within TNA. What did Eric bring to the product at this time?

Jimmy Hart leaves the company to return to the WWE in preparation for WrestleMania supposedly. It’s reported that his leaving is a bigger deal to Hulk than anybody else. Were you surprised to see Jimmy go back?

With the big taping coming up Dixie goes on a press tour to promote it and she goes on the “Total Nonstop Podcast” which was hosted by Spike TV and hosted by current WWE contributor Peter Rosenberg & former wrestling writer Andrew Goldstein. This was really Dixie’s strong suit wasn’t it?

Dixie had this to say about going on the road: “We know that it would be important to take Impact out and tour, but when I talk about running this company like a business, I don’t put my head on the pillow every night without thinking about staying in business and turning a profit and giving these great wrestlers and fans a company 10, 15, 20 years from now. And we have to make good business decisions.

“Touring is extremely expensive. It’s extremely expensive to take a production like we have on the road for television. We have to be smart about it. Yes, we know it’s critical. Yes, we know it’s absolutely the next step in the evolution of TNA... For us to grow, we need to take Impact on the road.”

Was it really the next step and what you needed to grow? Looking back it was such a failure that really sped up the end of Panda being involved was it not?

•Carter on being convinced she should have a TV role: “It’s something I never wanted to do, but I took a tremendous amount of pressure. It’s pretty hard when someone looks at you and says, ‘Okay, if you could be a part of something that maybe makes an impact positively on the company,’ why would you not do that?

“I think the reason is I didn’t know if I could do it, quite honestly. I think I’ve gone from absolutely not wanting to do it to it’s just more of an evolution of me how I’ve grown in this role since I first started.”

Do you think she never wanted to be on TV?

Let’s talk about the big Impact 3/3/11 from Fayetteville:

From the Torch

•The show opened with Jeremy Borash introducing Dixie Carter. Carter got weepy in that fake bad acting forced way like every other amateur overextending themselves that she loves the fans. She acted very sad as she began to explain the court ruling situation. Eric Bischoff’s music interrupted. Taz told Mike Tenay it doesn’t seem as if the ruling went Dixie’s way. Bischoff led Matt Hardy, Gunner, Murphy, Rob Terry, and Ric Flair to the ring. Bischoff told Dixie he’s learned so much from her. He said she has “one massive set of balls” even though she’s a woman in a man’s world. Flair asked if she’s beginning to understand where she is: Flair Country. Flair said they could have avoided all of this if she accepted his room key for a year-long ride. He said instead she’s chosen to communicate with fans online, trying to get them to love her. “Does that get you off? We get them off, they don’t get us off,” Flair said. Flair then introduced Hulk Hogan.

This…this is just…I don’t even know what to say Bruce…

Eventually Hogan comes out - says he’s in 100% in control of TNA and Dixie begins to cry as she’s now “unemployed.” Hogan says he & Bischoff used her to get back into control of a wrestling company. Eventually Dixie sides with Fortune and it’s a square off between the two groups. Was the goal to build up the guys like AJ, Kaz & Beer Money in Fortune over the likes of Hulk & Ric?

To continue on things that don’t make sense - Bischoff is complaining about “this Network Guy” calling him and ordering that Jeff Hardy had to defend the title against someone - but the Network won’t tell Eric and this is after Hulk is in 100% control - can you make heads or tails of this? Are you sitting around going - does this make sense?

•In the men’s room, Flair wanted to know about Jeff’s plans for the honeymoon with Karen. Jarrett said he’s taking Karen and the kids to “Harry Potter” at Universal Studios. Flair replied: ”Why don’t you just bring your mother-in-law and kill yourself.” Jarrett said Flair doesn’t understand what the relationship is all about... Meanwhile, Angle taped his fist in preparation for the wedding ceremony…

Bruce - what is this…

The big wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place but as Jarrett walks out - Kurt attacks him and Karen throws a fit so Angle threw her face-first into the cake. How did this all get worked together - to make it a work?

•Flair and Bart Scott walked up to Angle backstage and told him he’s going to be on the cover of the New York Times for getting his ass kicked by a Jet. Scott walked up to Angle and said, “You’re a lot smaller in person.”

Does this help anyone you think?

So the wedding segment takes place again…the reason why you have these is weddings draw ratings right - so you try and draw it out for two segments…

From the Torch

•Karen still had icing on her face as she and Jeff exchanged renewed vows in the ring. Angle stood near and smiled as Karen and Jeff took thinly veiled shots at Angle’s performance as a father and husband in bed. Jarrett told Karen she is the wind beneath his wings. Karen said Jeff completes her. Eric produced the ring out of his tennis shoe.

The ring cleared when Angle pulled out an axe after the vows were complete. Bischoff sent Bart Scott to the ring to get Angle. After a shove, Angle put him in an anklelock. Security intervened quickly.

Is this good shit, pal?

Finally the main event and Jeff comes out to defend his TNA title against the mystery opponent set up by the Network…

From the Torch

On the big screen, the “3/3/11” numbers were shown, followed by a lot of lightning, then Sting’s video and music hit, getting a big pop. Sting came out wearing a shiny, colorful new ring coat and new wrestling gear. As Sting walked down the ramp, a big technical glitch happened, as backstage video of some of the Knockouts was shown on the big screen for a few seconds. Sting looked in better shape than he’s looked in a year or so. Hardy and Sting had a match that was about what you’d expect from the two of them, and Sting won clean after a couple of Scorpion Death Drops. Sting celebrated in the ring for a few minutes after the match, enjoying the adulation of the surprised fans.

Was this the right time to bring back Sting? Would it had meant more as an advertised appearance?

Was Jeff happy with losing the title to Sting? Do you think this played into what would eventually happen?

The transition to Sting changing his look - was that the right move do you think?

The show does a 1.25 rating - so it’s DOWN from the previous week of 1.37 - which was a record. So the promotion of this big pay-per-view like show - and it’s down. Did TNA live and die with the ratings?

Sting would appear on the go-home Impact still with the Jeff Hardy style TNA title. What did you think of that belt?

Sting says he couldn’t stand watching Hogan, Bischoff & Flair running the company. Mr. Anderson would come out, wanting his rematch, then Jeff Hardy came out and wanted his rematch because he wasn’t prepared for Sting…irony in that statement…then RVD also came out to lay his claim.

Hulk is in control according to the story so what does he do - let’s Eric put together two matches for Victory Road - Sting defending against Jeff and RVD taking on Mr. Anderson for a #1 contenders slot. Also - Hardy & Anderson will have to team up to take on Sting & Rob in the main event. Is it too many authority figures?

There’s a guy who’s with Samoa Joe coming out named Okada. Wonder if that kid will amount to anything…

From the Torch

•Ric Flair came out dressed in a suit, whereas Matt Hardy and Styles were dressed for a street fight. Flair told Styles he’s in “Flair country” (North Carolina). Styles fired back that TNA is the house A.J. built. Flair said he fertilized half of Fayetteville back in his day. Good line, good delivery. Hardy then talked down to Styles, telling him that he’s so young and innocent and idealistic, whereas he (Hardy) had been through many wars and understands the system is against him. Styles

jumped Hardy as they cut to a break.

(4) Ric Flair vs. Matt Hardy vs. A.J. Styles - Street

Fight.

Styles put Flair in a figure-four, but Hardy broke that up. Hardy brought a ladder into the ring and clotheslined Styles with it. Hardy went for a Twist of Hate, but Styles countered. Styles punched a bloodied Flair with ten punches and the crowd popped. Flair then did the Flair Flop. Hardy came back with a Side Effect and a bodyslam. Styles countered a Flair chairshot attempt. Then he hit a Pele Kick on Hardy and went for a Styles Clash on a chair. Flair crawled over and low blowed Styles, giving Hardy an opening for a Twist of Hate. Flair made the cover. Winner: Flair in 7:00.

Was this the best use of Flair you think - or even Styles?

•(6) Sting & RVD vs. Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson. RVD came out alone. Anderson tagged in Hardy by smacking him on the back of his head. Later Hardy punched Anderson to tag him in. Anderson eventually gave Hardy a Mic Check. The lights went out and Sting’s music played.

Sting gave Anderson a Scorpion Death Drop, then pointed at RVD, indicating he should hit the Five- Star. Winners: RVD & Sting in 5:00.

Afterward, Sting and RVD seemed to call a truce and celebrated their win together.

RVD & Sting get the win even though Sting - the new babyface champion - does not come out until 3 minutes into the match and it ends 2 minutes later - with Sting giving Anderson a Scorpion Death Drop - then pointed at RVD and Van Dam hit the splash for the win and we go off the air with Sting & RVD together. Not really the hard sell for the pay-per-view is it?

Well the show itself - gets 10,000 buys and it’s up from the previous month of 8,000 and the year before got 13,000 purchases. Was this just the ceiling of TNA’s paying consumers?

Let’s discuss the show!

1 -- TOMMY DREAMER beat BROTHER RAY

From the Torch

•It’s the Tommy Dreamer Specialty, a stand-up brawl through the crowd with various apparatus used as weapons. We got a big stuffed animal and a blow up sex doll used in the match. It’s reminding me too much of those WCW Uncensored debacles.

•Ten or so long minutes into the match, with Ray in control, he called for Devon. Devon’s sons walked out, one of them in a neck brace. Ray called them to the ring. Devon entered the ring from behind and surprised Ray with a 3D with Dreamer’s help, scoring the pin.

•These stand-up weapons brawls as opening match novelties just feels dated, but in the context of TNA it’s relatively harmless as the crowd tends to wake up when wrestlers are using this approach. And it’s basically the only way to use Dreamer. (*)

Was it too redundant?

2 -- SARITA & ROSITA beat ANGELINA LOVE & WINTER - TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG TITLE MATCH

•Sarita says before the match she’s bringing the titles back to Mexico where they belong.

•Short match under five minutes, so at least they’re consistent on PPV in that Knockouts matches on TV are also short.

•Terrible timing on the finish to the point of being really embarrassing. Sky was late arriving yanking the Knockout tag title belt away from Rostita as she stood there aiming it at Winter for what felt like eternity without swinging it. Rosita turned around and protested Sky’s interference. That gave Winter an opening to roll up Rosita, but Sarita reversed the roll-up. The ref was very late getting back into the ring and he counted three. One of the worst final minutes of a match in I’ve seen in a long time. Just poorly timed and therefore really contrived looking. Taz said, “A lot of moving parts.” That’s his way of saying “ugly as a bowling shoe.”

•More dissension between Sky and Winter afterward, with Love caught in the middle. Sky insisted to Winter she tried to help her. She did, so why is Winter upset? (1/2*)

When you’re in gorilla and watching this finish happen - do you just put your head in your hands…

Let’s stop right here real quick - during the day - did you see Jeff Hardy?

SKIT: Jeff Jarrett shows Karen a “great time” on amusement rides at the Universal Studios theme park. Karen is dressed for a royal ball, not an afternoon with the kids, and her face shows her disappointment in the honeymoon. She tries to get Jeff to send the kids back to the hotel room.

You enjoyed shooting these didn’t you Bruce? Did Jeff trust anyone else to do these when you got here?

3 -- HERNANDEZ beat MATT MORGAN - FIRST BLOOD

•The start of the match - with Morgan running into the ring and charging at Hernandez - matches the tone and intensity of the feud. It’s nice that they didn’t start with a collar and elbow hook-up.

•A plant ran into the ring. The ref tackled him and Morgan helped kick him out of the ring. The original ref was down, so Jackson James ran out to replace him. Meanwhile, Morgan stole a chain from Hernandez and KO’d him. The camera zoomed in on Hernandez fumbling with a white towel. It appeared like he was looking for a blade. Instead, though, when he got up and sprayed a blood-like substance all over Morgan’s chest. Morgan looked a bit confused, but set up more offense on Hernandez. The ref returned to the ring and saw blood all over Morgan’s chest, so he awarded Hernandez the match. As Hernandez celebrated at ringside, it was clear he had wiped blood from a cut on his forehead.

(*1/2)

This is…quite an interesting finish. But why have the fan run in for such an early match on the card?

“3 -- KAZ vs. JEREMY BUCK vs. MAX BUCK vs. ROBBIE E. - ULTIMATE X MATCH

•Jeremy went for the belt, which upset Max on his birthday. They battled over the belt where the cables cross and both knocked each other down. Kaz walked the cable and used the scaffolding to hold himself upright. He reached down and grabbed the belt out of Robbie E’s arms and then dropped to the mat for the win.

•Enough athletic spots to make it an above-average concept match, but barely. (**3/4)

Was the Ultimate X match done too much in a scenario where nobody really meant anything at the time?

SKIT: Karen continued to be miserable as Jarrett entertained all of the kids. Jarrett acted oblivious to her being unhappy. He leaned in and kissed her. Karen sarcastically shouted, “This is gonna be great!” after Jarrett promised the kids more thrill rides.

4 -- BEER MONEY beat INK INC. - TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

•This was the first match that felt like a standard basic wrestling match, but with some good workers who don’t need crutches or gimmicks to fill ten minutes. It didn’t add up to a great match, but it was fine for its position on the card. (**3/4)

•Afterward they unfortunately did another break-up tease. So that makes four instances on the first half of this show of established duos teasing dissension - Ink Inc., Jeff & Karen, Beautiful People with Winter, and The Bucks.

Why the redundancy?

INTERVIEW: Christy interviewed Matt Hardy and Ric Flair backstage. Flair endorsed Hardy’s “Cold Blooded” nickname. Hardy had those two-thirds-closed glassy-eyes but less slurring of his words than usual. Hardy told A.J. Styles that it’s nice to be “young and naive,” but it doesn’t make him successful, famous, or rich. By the way, Matt keeps talking about Styles as if there’s this huge age and experience difference, but they could have gone to high school together as they’re about four years apart in age.

It’s interesting to me that Wade points out that Hardy seemed to be a little messed up in his promo - and the combination of Matt & Ric just doesn’t feel right - was there any indication of anything going on with the Hardys at this point?

5 -- A.J. STYLES vs. MATT HARDY (w/Ric Flair)

•Flair gave Styles a “crotch claw” from ringside, which Taz cleverly called a “five on two.”

•More back and forth action with Flair giving Hardy the advantage again at 16:00. Hardy hit a moonsault, which unfortunately landed on Styles’s legs, but they still did the near fall. Styles avoided a Twist of Hate and then Pele Kicked Hardy off the second rope. Styles then hit Spinal Tap for the win despite Flair trying to yank on the ref’s arm.

•Styles wins in 18:00. Hardy kept up nicely and looks significantly more in cardio shape than when he first arrived. (***)

How good was AJ at this time? Would you consider him the best wrestler in the world at this point?

SKIT: Karen yelled at Jarrett for not getting their honeymoon right because “it’s missing something.” The kids ran up and caused Karen to be drenched in a waterfall. Karen screamed as Jarrett said it’s the greatest honeymoon in the world. He kissed her.

How good is Karen?

6 -- MR. ANDERSON vs. ROB VAN DAM - NO. 1 CONTENDER MATCH

•Back and forth match, with RVD setting the pace very early and Anderson taking over with a more methodical approach. Decent pace leading to some ringside action at 12:00, which led to a flat double countout finish after a Mic Check on the ramp. Largely forgettable and plodding. Not awful, but not good. The finish knocks down the star rating, too. (*1/4)

•Taz and Tenay acted totally dumbfounded about what to do now since there’s no top contender for the title. The crowd suggested “Restart the Match! Restart the Match!” (Hilariously, other fans audibly shouted, “No!... No!”) Or they can just have a Triple Threat match against the winner of the main event.

Does this type of booking hurt people - because it doesn’t help does it?

7 -- STING vs. JEFF HARDY - TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

So Bruce…when do you know?

What’s the backstage area like when Jeff isn’t there?

What’s running through your head?

From the Torch

Hiring Jeff Hardy was always a risk. TNA has been a company willing to take risks to try to cash in on the star power generated by acquiring talent once featured in WWE and formerly WCW. On Sunday night, the fans were the victims of that risk.

In one of the more bizarre and disappointing finishes to a pro wrestling pay-per-view event, Sting retained the TNA World Title in a one-move match that mostly consisted of Hardy teasing throwing his t-shirt to the crowd. Before the match Eric Bischoff walked to the ring. He said plans were changing. Ostensibly he came to the ring to announce that the match rules were being changed to no-DQ. In the process of doing that, he had brief private off-mic chats first with Hardy and second with Sting.

It was apparent during those conversations that Bischoff conveyed the change of plans—that the match was going to end with one move.

Vince Russo has said that Eric was the one who took charge and went out to the ring to call it all out there to get TNA out of the situation - do you think it was to save TNA or do you think it was to save Jeff?

From the Torch

Rather than risk, at best, a clown show with an apparently intoxicated wrestler missing moves or, at worst, a serious injury to one of the wrestlers, the match was essentially cut short.

Hardy went along with the change in plans, but first teased throwing his t-shirt to the crowd for a minute which seemed to test Sting’s patience. After a collar and elbow hook-up, Sting delivered a sudden Scorpion Death Drop to Hardy and scored the pin. Hardy seemed to struggle to kick out before three a little more than would be typical, and Sting seemed to restrain Hardy a little more than is usually necessary after delivering a match-ending finisher.

Sting walked up the ramp with the TNA Hvt. Title belt he just retained. The crowd shouted something and Sting said he agreed, clearly realizing this was a lousy finish to a PPV and no fault of his own.

This is the biggest mess that’s happened on pay-per-view outside of Heroes of Wrestling is it not?

Was it embarrassing?

How disappointed are you with Jeff?

Do you talk with him about it?

Was there anything else that could’ve been done to save this?

How was Sting after?

From the Torch

This outcome might have been more damaging to TNA had this been a bigger PPV, but this PPV seemed to be among the least buzz-generated shows in TNA’s monthly PPV history. The line-up didn’t come together until the very last edition of Impact, and the main storyline on Impact involved Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle, two wrestlers not on the line-up (Angle was featured prominently on the PPV poster, which was created months ago.)

Why no Kurt do you know?

Could anything had saved this show - even if it didn’t end the show in the way it did?

Hulk

Hogan posted on Twitter in response to a suggestion that Hardy be fired: ”Brother, we’re trying to get everything sorted out; I feel bad about some of the situations that have to be [dealt] with.)

Jeff’s brother Matt Hardy also stopped short of defending his brother, something he’s had plenty of practice doing over the years. “Well, today has been quite the interesting day to say the least. And yes, Jeff is fine. I’m [definitely] fine. Just sore from busting my ass last night.”

This isn’t the first time this has happened with Jeff - as he had an issue back in December for Final Resolution. Were you around for that?

Do you think this hurt people buying TNA pay-per-views in the immediate future?

The show ends - you’re back at the hotel - are you wondering what the hell you had gotten yourself into with the company?
