On April 19, 1998, World Championship Wrestling took it's traveling circus to Denver for Spring Stampede! And even though it was well-received among wrestling fans at the time, it was still in the wake of the "Starrcade debacle" and the juggernaut they created was starting to show some "wear and tear."
