WorthIt Guides Crafting Professions and Plans - WorthIt Report – 07/11/2021 (Patreon)

Introduction:

This week we will be looking at how the addon is coming along and my plan moving forward to better increase the user experience to WorthIt Guides.

Crafting Professions – WorthIt Guides:

WorthIt Guides is coming along quite nicely, this week I have managed to build upon all other crafting professions. As for last week we got all Shadowlands professions completed but this week we have managed to gather all data for every Crafting profession from BFA to Vanilla meaning we are now able to place the breakdowns, waypoints and guides for every profession to be maxed.

Though this has taken an entire week to source all of the information but means in the up coming week we will have a guide on every profession for every expansion. This is PERFECT! Because in a couple of weeks once compiled the WorthIt guides addon will be able to help anyone with there professions.

Curseforge Download:

Following onto the WorthIt Guides addon, this week coming I will be setting the Addon as a full Release instead of Alpha. Though, the addon is still in it's Alpha this means you'll be able to download the addon and get the most up to date version of that alpha from the Curseforge, WoWUp clients.

This should be much easier for everyone to follow along with the addons series and get the most up to date version of the Alpha.

Alpha to Beta:

As for the Alpha WorthIt Guides, once the Profession Guides are fully compiled, Which I am aiming to get done in the coming week. I will be then able to move it's version to Beta for everyone to fully test.

This means the Core features will be implemented and we will then be focusing of bug fixes and the Aesthetics of the addon. I am looking at making a custom UI but we shall see if I can get the frames to merge. But this depends on how re-skinning the addon to play with other addons people commonly use as I would rather it works then looks like a mess.

Practicality over Beauty so to speak. Though I am really excited and happy by the way it is coming out. I do have some bugs that I have mentioned in the latest video which need to be addressed and as such I will be fixing those once we move from Alpha to Beta.

Conclusion:

Overall this week is looking very promising and will keep you all updated on how it is going :D
