By far, the longest set of 'The Loft' series. I have a very hard time deciding which outfit, look or set I like the best out of this series, but I think this one is near the top of the list. As I sit here thinking about Part V, it made me curious why this set is so much longer than the rest and I honestly cannot say for sure. I think we were both extremely excited with how the photos were coming out that we just kept shooting and shooting. Regardless, it is great because you get to enjoy as many photos as the last three parts combined.

Reed and I slowly worked our way from in front of the windows for Part I to half way up the stair case in Part IV and now all the way up, far to the other side of the loft to the bed. From the metallic headboard and the white sheets to the amazing black Agent Provocateur lingerie and Reed's bright red lip stick; it all came together beautifully. The only thing that was a little tricky was the light. This part was shot in the late afternoon and with a three foot tall wall blocking the direct light from the windows I was forced to raise my ISO higher than I normally prefer. Granted, it is not the end of the world, simply just adds more grain to the photos.

Part V is a little more intimate than the rest and it was the first time that Reed and I have ever shot on a bed in our time creating together. I loved getting detail shots such as the ones of her tattooed leg or close up to her chest and lips. I know this greatly adds to the intimacy I feel from this set. Something about those photos puts me right back in the space on that very day. One thing that I certainly know is the largest contributing factor to the vibe of Part V is Reed's amazing skill in posing. Not just how she poses her body but also the looks she gives. Normally when I shoot I direct when I need to, but with Reed that need is rarely ever present. She just gets it. Every time I shoot with her I become more and more impressed with how much she has grown as a model.

One of my favorite pieces of this area of the loft is the metallic headboard. The right side of it picked up the little bit of light amazingly. The gradient it created made for an amazing background to the photos. I never thought I would enjoy a metallic and reflective furniture as much as I did. All of the contrasts in these photos make me love them even more.

We have a surprise for you at the finale of this series, I cannot go into too much detail but I think it is the only reason I am looking forward to the end of 'The Loft'. Stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for the surprise to go live after Part VII.
