My friends, I'm pleased to inform you that the chipping stage is finished. Well, almost.

First of all, please accept my apology for not being active over the last couple of days. Again, weekend meant some duties around the house (as usual 😄) and I also needed to get some fresh air. I kept working on the model in short sessions, but nothing remarkable, and I also did something else, which I'll show you in a separate post.

So, about the chipping... well, it was again pretty time consuming, although I found myself progressing slightly faster than before. I'm a bit surprised how subtle it turned out but I kinda like that to be honest.

The wheels were chipped with the VMS reverse chipping paint, which is a chipping color that you can apply in any amount and remove it it water until you're happy with the result. I applied it with a sponge and the result on the roadwheels is definitely "spongy" because of their rounded profile, but the result on the sprockets is bang on. I'll most likely try using it on the next model, like, on the entire model.

Also you might notice some details painted in light grey, this is a base color for the enamel rust tones which I'll apply tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of the day, because even though it's easy, it still takes time.

And then, finally, I'll be able to put the video together. And after that, it'll be zimmerit chipping, impacts, and detail painting, but I'm getting ahead of myself!

So that's it for tonight!
