As you know, Melony won both the Christmas Fanart and Sequence polls. This is not a situation that had come up before, and it caught me a bit off-guard.

Trying to decide what to do, I created a new poll, to ask if people would like Melony to receive both pieces, or if one of them should go to the runner-up of their respective poll.

After some behind-the-scenes discussion, I've come to realize that was a mistake on my part - It was not appropriate of me to change the rules of the contest midway through, and I have since deleted that last poll. As such, Melony will be receiving both pieces, as was originally voted by my patrons.

I'm sorry for the confusion this might have caused.

In the future, I will hold another poll, so that we may decide together what should be done in cases where a character wins multiple polls at once.

Thank you for your support!

Thank you for doing your best to manage everyone's expectations and the polls themselves! Hopefully you can figure out something that works out better for you and us the next time there's two concurrent polls, so you'll have more variety in your time spent doing art :)

I tend to not get my hopes up when a poll has a Pokemon girl in it

I can respect the circumstances of this decision, a single character winning multiple polls likely being a first-time occurrence for you. A slight bit of a letdown as I was hoping for another runner-up to get a chance to show up, but I'll be the better patron and look forward to it nonetheless.

MELONY IS THE CHAMPION LETS GOOO.

Typical, the most popular characters always win these polls... I mean, how couldn't they? If they lost, they wouldn't be the most popular characters.

I'm just here for the OC content.

Though I am a bit bummed Clover won’t get some kinda work, the idea of a three-part/Christmas sequence has me excited to see what will happen.

Or..... save yourself some work and make it a Christmas-themed sequence? Both birds with the same stone?
