Hey all,

So here it is, finally, after a significant delay.

You remember seeing the preview for this right? The one I posted while I was ill. I mentioned the original file had gone corrupt out of the blue on a previous upload, and I had like, no backups. Spent a good two days trying to vain different file recovery methods, but yeah, 'in vain'. It was all for naught, and the original is just forever borked.

Most annoying thing is that I can't do ANYTHING with it, I can't delete or move the file even because it'll give a disk error message and then... I can't do anything, there was only one method that managed to copy the fucked file, but no programs could load it so it was just as useless... except I could delete the copy.

But it's finally here, I had to completely redo everything from scratch based on the preview sketches I uploaded, made extra sour by it being mere days away from being done. So I really had to redo almost everything save for the base sketches.

Of course, this happened to the only project that had a deadline attached to it, turning it into quite a rush. For my grand return I set some time aside for an RQR and a character sketch but other than that I have been doing nothing but finish this thing as fast as I could as close to the original deadline, because it was always going to be late now, only question being how late.

Answer: about 5 days.

So yeah, you may recognize the pair, I've drawn them together several times already, usually with a second certain grey-haired lady present, but this time it's just the two of them. She's got aaaaalll that dick to herself now. Lucky girl.

And now I can set my focus back on the usual stuff, just in time for.... Christmas again? Really? It's that close?

Now last year I took a break for the whole of December and then some because of it, the turn of the year, some other holidays, and a bunch of birthdays grouped together making it all a very busy time of year. But with the ol' 'rona going around messing things up... yeah things are looking a fair bit quieter.

Not that all those birthdays and holidays aren't happening mind, it's just that people are hesitant on traveling over and/or inviting people. So I am not announcing a break for this winter, at least for now. I can't see the future and how things might change after all. But I do know I am quite sick of breaks after what feels like a year of almost nothing but.

Funnily enough, none of the troubles I faced this year have had ANYTHING to do with the larger issues plaguing 2020, it just seems I've got my own tiny little personal crisises (crisesses? crisi? plural of crisis) going on in tandem with continents catching on fire, explosions, war scares, riots, pandemics... phew, 2020 has been wild.
