Blue eyes at the beach (Patreon)

Hey all,

Remember how I said earlier in the week how I didn't feel so good after coming back from my parents' place and also something about my wrist and a dog?

Because turns out the "not feeling good" business intended to stick around apparently. I tried to keep it on the down-low through the week because I am sure none of you are waiting to hear me winge and complain, but as a result I didn't get a whole lot of drawing done, not as much as I had wanted to at least. Which is why I had to scramble a bit today to finish up this commission on time.

Now you may have noticed I might just have recycled last commissions' background, which might look lazy. But this was actually planned from the very start as I just happened to get two bikini related commissions in a row and so I decided to tie them together thematically like this. Even though the origin of the two ladies is completely different. One is OC and partially based on a picture, the other is, and that's today's one, based off a character called Cecilia Misono, as she appears in the Hentai Manga titled 'Blue Eyes', authored by Nishimaki Tohru. One I actually happen to be familiar with if you would believe it or not (the entire series, and the author's work as whole, revolves around extremely busty women and the lucky bastards that get to have sex with the beauties, so there mystery solved as to why).

In fact, her entire pose was referenced from a specific panel IN the manga, done in my own style and with some minor tweaks as requested, closed eyes and all. Which left me with a bit of a problem because I wanted to title this "blue eyes at the beach" from the start but that wouldn't really make a lot of sense if she had her eyes closed. And making an entire different version of the same image just with her eyes open for that? Seems a bit silly, so with the background work already done I decided to spend some time making an entire nude version where she has her eyes open. And now everything makes perfect sense.

Just the way I like it.
