I did not want to post too much yesterday so I held out on this post a bit and am post.
With everything going on in the world I am having a harder time focusing on my own work. There are a lot of times when I don't know what to draw to be honest, so last week on Monday I started a four week challenge to work a bit more on the basics. This way I don't have to think of what to draw and still have the feeling that I did something.
I found the challenge on Twitter, but I can't find the original tweet anymore. It was called Art Veggies, a bit like eating your greens every day. It has a different focus on every day of the week. Monday and Wednesday is anatomy (with a different body part each time), Tuesday is figure drawing (clothed and nude), Thursday is values, Friday is color study and Saturday is perspective.
I'll try to keep up with the posts. Most of it will be digital art since it is easier for me right now. My neighbors on both sides are home every day because of the quarantine and they both tend to listen to music loudly so I prefer to sit in my bedroom because I don't hear their music that loud. I can't use headphones all day because my head is too big and my ears start to hurt, hahaha.

About these studies: Monday was face/head anatomy time. I draw a lot faces so this one was a nice warmup. I used Andrew Loomis' approach to this. If you're interested, you can buy the books online but you can get them as free downloadable pdf.'s and they are a great resource for figure drawing and anatomy.

I hope you are doing well, stay safe <3
