Dawn Chorus Day 3! (Patreon)

Yesterday I uploaded a mid-month build for Self-confident and Formidable patrons, continuing Rune and Lake routes, the first update for the main VN since December. My, how time flies... I'm still working on the full update that will feature new content for Mikko and Jorgen routes too, it should be ready very soon! After that, the next update will feature the rest of the routes: Torulf, Bjorn and Devon.

Besides the new content, the new updates tidy up some Day 1 content, with many of the dialogues altered for a better flow and more consistency, the intro rewritten to avoid awkward expositions, and some details changed - nothing that would require replaying the routes from the beginning, but the retouches were extensive enough to make me feel much better about the whole project.

So, what else is happening? The side story for Rune and Devon is waiting for illustrations and painted backgrounds, with the planned release date sometime between May and June. Both the artists working on these are quite busy, but when I have something ready, I'll share it with you! I also plan on recording some more music for this story and releasing the soundtrack separately sometime soon, but I'll see how that goes.

In the meantime, I've done some writing for the side story featuring Lake as well, working on it in bursts whenever I get inspiration. It's very far from completion, but I found an artist for it already and possibly in a month or two I'll drop a preview build of it. But no promises on that one yet.
