The Grand Lore Expansion (Patreon)

It started with the Domina Card Game that is going to be included in Maple Hills College; namely, we wanted to expand Domina's lore and universe to accomodate new characters, creatures and enviroments. The realm of each Domina is supposed to be vast, a whole separate dimension with its own flora and fauna, inhabitants and history. Of course, you see little of that in the game, as you are mostly limited to each Domina's palace or seat of authority. However, we are really drawing closer to the end of the game, and we've been planning a Domina 2 storyline since the very beginning. Domina 2 is going to be the centerpiece of this lore expansion, the game where you will actually get to experience all the new characters and creatures, but we also wanted to include some of our work in Domina 1 right now. Thus, the upcoming update will include a dynamic encyclopedia menu, with new lore entries unlocking as you enter each Domina's realm, full with descriptions and images for each creature. Note that this feature can very easily be ignored for those not interested, as the encyclopedia will be self-contained in its own menu. In addition, you won't need to start a new game to unlock the entries for the realms you've already gone through, as I'll make sure to add some triggers to auto-unlock everything depending where you are in the game's story.

With that said, we are making some very good progress at achieving "good enough" results on the AI training side (as you can see above), meaning we should start generating the required images for the update soon. I think it's very safe to say we'll be able to finally ship 9.5 within September.
