I have a theory that even after all 7 unique monsters are beaten the world story will still have a decent amount left to be finished especially if every unique monster is worth 12%. Also I’m a little confused if all 7 unique monsters are known to the veteran players or not cuz this episode kinda made it sound like only 5 names are known which makes me think Bahamut is 6

Just to point out, but those chants do have a purpose; in this game, the magic you cast can be empowered by reciting a chant. Pencilgon did this when she used her spear to pin down Kirin's shadow. Basically, doing so amps its effects up to the max.

That’s also something I wasn’t sure about but I looked at it as the 12% equaling the start of the encounter to clearing it but I could easily be wrong

2024-02-19 22:14:43 I don’t think they would be able to beat lycagon yet because weathermon had a level handicap where 150 levels were split between the players. That’s why pencilgon wanted skill rather than strength and numbers. I don’t think lycagon has that so they might need brute strength along with skill for him.

If I had to guess based on the fights so far, i'd guess lycagon the night slayer is around lvl 200. It would be a better fight now but he'd still lose.
