A few questions for understanding: Why do some viewers explain why we should like characters, especially when, naturally, we might come to like them as the anime continues?

Is it more important for a reactor to feel as you do, or to see how they respond when they are watching blindly? So, do you prefer to coach their understanding and feelings?

Why do you want us to hold off on judging a character too soon? This one is complicated because judgment happens automatically, and the choice is between keeping it to oneself or sharing it.

So, is it that you want the judgment kept to oneself, or that it should never have been thought of in the first place?

In short, what is the intention behind your comments?

I’ll go first. When I comment on a creator's post, I care to be heard and acknowledged. Lol. I don’t really care about the content. I just want to be noticed, for good or bad. So, as long as I think my comment will spark an emotion, particularly laughter or anger, I won't comment.

Meaning, my intention, which I didn’t know until I wrote this, is to either piss someone off, anyone, or make someone laugh. There is no in-between; I don't try to hurt feelings, promote empathy, or share information for the sake of knowledge.

I just want to invoke one or two emotions, generally speaking.

Even this post was designed because I was irritated, and I switched to something informative so I can grow, lol. Smh.

Anyway, I am curious about what that says about me.

There is no wrong answer. Just want to listen.

People just want you to like the same things as them I guess, I wouldn't look at it that deep. And I just comment when I feel like it idk I just see an opportunity and take it and hopefully it gets read.

Are you asking anime people or everybody? I can explain some of the reasons I sometimes comment and other times I tried not to. But let me know I will gladly give feedback

I think it's just human nature. Some folks are rude af. Other are just trying to share their feelings or knowledge but it can ruin a blind reaction. I *try* to think if my comment is going to hurt the experience beforehand but I can't always know what can be considered hurtful, so I usually just don't comment. If I do comment it's usually just to say I found something funny or responding to a question like this post. Just know I think y'alls reactions are great, crazy theories and all. Oh and some things I didn't notice for awhile were that the audio for opening and ending are played for patrons but muted for reactors. I eventually caught on tho lol.
