1:06:18 They are definitely real gangsters however the guy/boss just has an awkward crew that really either are too stupid to remember his direction or too slow to catch on to him. So it always makes him look pathetic in front of the people he wants to impress/ intimidate etc. Love the laughs with this series it gets funnier n funnier I can’t wait for your reactions. I'm not sure if you remember, but Gook Doo once told his friend in HS that he preferred weak and delicate girls because then he can protect them. When Bong Soon was in HS, she seemed weak and delicate because she always messed up while trying to hide her powers. As he grew up, Gook Doo pursued his dream of protecting the weak, hence why he became a police officer. I think he likes the idea of his girlfriend, as you said, because she's sweet and delicate. He has this obsession with being the hero, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does blind him into thinking he has the right to scold Bong Soon and treat her like a child. It's kind of toxic, and it definitely was one of the reasons his girlfriend started to stray away, although cheating should never be accepted. She should have just broken up with him if she felt like he had no time for her. Still, he should have realized that he was prioritizing Bong Soon over his girlfriend, and spent more time worrying about her than caring about his actual girlfriend. They were both in the wrong, but I do think that Gook Doo was the catalyst to their rocky relationship. I know it's difficult being a cop, but he should have tried being more present. All that extra time he spent on Bong Soon could have been spent on his relationship. His girlfriend was also extremely understanding, and never reprimanded him or complained. She understood and accepted that his job was important and time consuming. He definitely took advantage of that. On the other hand, she should have voiced her disappointment or at least voiced her needs.
