Yes and it’s too short. If they were going to make a 2nd season of everything they skipped over from the manga then why not just make a longer season 1?? I don’t get it.

Its probably cause they didn't think the first season would become as popular as it did. But then it did, people wanted more and other people were upset they skipped a lot, even crucial bits. So they just had to go and make it confusing lol

I let you guys decide if you want to react to missing pieces on your own. I know you don’t really mess with the “filling in the missing parts” type story beat. You def got my support if you do decide to tho! If you really love the story but don’t really want to watch missing pieces I highly suggest the manga, it keeps everything chronological unlike missing pieces. They had to jump around the manga to make the story feel more coherent. Bittersweet to be at the end but so happy I got to see my fav reactors watch my fav romcom!

I ship Sakura and Yanagi. He would be good to her. As for The Missing Pieces, it does more to cover the side characters. There is one episode dedicated to Sawada and her relationships with others. It gives more incite to her character. If you choose to cover it, I will there for it but I will not demand or expect you to.

Missing Pieces is fire, but for sure it's not for everything since there's not a real flowing plot just fun bits it skipped out on so it's all up to you and your interest if y'all wanna watch it. If not the manga is really a fun read and shows some very fun moments even Missing Pieces skips over

Hope you check out Missing pieces eventually, the pictures from the end credits are basically scenes from Missing pieces. It sucks that they split it up like that, if we had 26ep in continuation it would've been much better, but I feel like if you start watching it right after regular season, it's not as hard to follow as it was for other people who waited for years :D

Missing Pieces is wonderful (so funny and great to "spend more time" with the gang) but the non-linear storytelling confused a lot of people who were disappointed that it wasn't a continuation. For me, it was a true "slice of life" with essentially all these short snapshots of "what else happened that year" that worked perfectly because we already knew the major tentpole events (but I'm also one if those weird people who reread books and rewatch shows so...) I hope even if there is no reaction that you (or maybe just Adorkable since she really seemed to enjoy "spending time these characters") watch it on your own.

Also wanted to add that those shots in the outro are some of the stories that are expanded on in Missing Pieces! (e.g. The Kyoto school trip and the track meet)

As lots of others have said, hope you guys can watch Missing Pieces eventually since the schedule is so packed rn. If you liked Season 1, I don't think you can go wrong with watching it. You mentioned that it's like 50/50 on people for or against watching it but I guarantee if you watched it those people against would still end up watching the reactions anyways haha I also never understood the people that say Missing Pieces isn't worth watching since there's no major plot but you could argue that Season 1 doesn't really have a plot either. Both seasons focus completely on character development and interactions/group chemistry which are so great in this show
