The reason they got upset about the milk an sugar in the coffee is because Real coffee drinkers drink it black. It's the casual coffee drinkers that need cream and sugar. You guys missed that Iris's father left the match when she lost. There is something going on there I think. What father would leave their daughter's match just because she lost. That's seems weird to me. Rose is in line to be queen with her father being killed an if she can prove everything she will be.

There’s plenty of material for another season. It got a mobile game as well that’s very popular I’m sure there will be a season two. This was one of the more popular anime the last 2 seasons

I think that there may have been significance to the fact that Cid accepted the burger and traded one with her (she was actually eating that exact burger when Iris approached her and they focused on that blue wrapper), basically treating her like a normal person whereas Iris was being super formal and didn't accept the burger. I may be way off but it just seemed like that may be significant especially with the stuff about really great fighters operating with absolute confidence and Beatrix believing that Cid is more significant than he acts.

This 20 episode season basically covered LN V1-2, S2 could follow the same pacing and do 3-4. Also they are investing overlord type resources into the IP, with chibi series and mobile game.
