Asterios is the minotaur in the maze myth. I also have a feeling that fels is Danmachi's version of Asclepius. He was a doctor who could revive the dead. Killed by Zeus, revived by Apollo.

Freya was the one to notice how high of a tier the Magic was, by non-deity metrics, which makes sense as Freya is, besides Sex, War & Gold and other things, the God of Seidr (Norse form of Magic based on Fate Manipulation via Stories, in a sense; most of its practitioners would have been female soothsayers or male/female Skalds (basically bards/poets essentially). I mean, Freya is pretty much the female counterpart to Odin, as they share more Spheres than other gods do in Norse mythology, notably War, and both being Magic Caster type gods first and foremost. Hell, even the dead warriors are split 50/50 between Odin & Freya, as both of them have their own sub-sections of Valhalla), and would thus be qualified to discern the quality of a specific magic used. Altho technically, Dia Orpheus is Greek themed (just like all of Fels' abilities, such as Dia Panakeia, which is literally named after the Greek concept of Panakeia, which is a cure-all that gods had, for example. Like it literally cures anything, and doesn't specialize in antidote or healing etc, it does all of that no buts), and it's based on the tragedy of Orpheus, who ventured into Hades (the afterlife, not the god it's named after, altho they are synonymous in practice) to get his beloved back. After going through Ordeals, Hades was like "k. But you CAN'T LOOK BACK, or the deal is over & I will also fucking get yo ass too, in addition to her soul", and the fucking dumbass was almost out of Hades w/ her, then she calls out his name while in some kind of daze due to being well dead, and the dumbass mofo looks back, literally the only thing he ain't supposed to do to win this shit. This is basically what the lines in the Chant refer to, especially the "Oh, I can't look back" part being the final line, because that's the key to success in the origin, so this finishes the Chant for this Resurrection spell. You can see from the length of the Chant and its heavily ritualistic look, that it's broken OP compared to practically any other combat or even AoE support-type spell by mage-types. So yeah, the Chant also invokes the relics of a couple of gods too, in addition to being a reference to Orpheus' tragedy. Most notably it invokes the name of the God of Healing, in reference to the Rod of Asclepius (or as the Chant itself shortens, Rod of Pius), as well as invoking the ROMAN God of Safety/Salvation/Welfare, w/ the line Bowl of Salus (Salus is the Roman counterpart of Hygieia, who is the daughter of Asclepius as per Greek mythos)

Just coming back to watch these reactions again cause I love danmachi so much. Bell is basically the king of monsters or better yet the hero of monsters. You gotta love it. Even with everyone else going against him he knows what is right.
